Does anyone have regrets that LSU didn't pursue Joe Brady as hard as Lane Kiffin? Or another HC?

I don’t understand the question.
I mean, I understand it, I just don’t understand what kind of brain trauma would have to happen for someone to ask it.

For the millionth time, Joe Brady had no aspirations of being a college football coach. All he’s ever wanted to be was an NFL coach. LSU was a stepping stone for him and a way for him to become noticed. It worked for him too I’d say.

You referring to the guy who became an NFL head coach this year?!

I have a few close friends who are Bills fans and they would take Kiffin over Brady right now in a heartbeat

I think Joe Brady's role in the 2019 success is way overrated.
They weren't doing anything super innovative, they were just executing at a near perfect level.
His work with the receivers is rarely talked about but was probably his most important contribution.

Brady will never coach in college again. Even if it don’t work out as head coach he will pick up as a QB coach or OC and then possibly get another head coach opportunity in NFL. He has no desire to be in college nor would I if I was him. I love watching it as a fan but no way I would want to deal with all that it has become if the NFL was an option

I hadn't been on the site much or for long enough. Thanks for making a 47 year old man feel like shite. I hope you die in a plane crash

How can we have regrets before Kiffin has even coached a single game here?
And why would I regret it? I didn’t hire him

Brady took a chance coming to LSU and it paid dividends. If he wanted to stay at LSU in 2020, he wouldn’t have immediately jumped back to the league.
