Where do some of you fools come from? 5 straight national seeds. Haven't had things go our way at times in the post season, but the idea that we're settling for mediocrity is ridiculous. Look at the teams who are winning NCs lately. The parity in the game is higher than it's ever been.

Their pitching staff could easily fold on Monday.

If we force a 3rd game the pressure is squarely on them.

I mean Romero should get a look but he's cooled off a ton towards the end of the season too.

Yeah he has looked bad, but if both aren't going to do anything.. Give me the guy with the more pop. So yes, I'd probably at least put Romero in for Bryce. I think. I don't know. Hopefully we continue to add depth moving forward.

Has LSU played past midnight in the majority of the last 10 games.

I'm genuinely asking what do you think the solution should be. We can sit a Jordan and DH Romero, but what else? What is your opinion, or is bashing them all you and others can do?

It's a message board bro. Being positive in an in-game thread isn't holding down this state.

I was talking in generalities with the attitude/State thought association. My real beef with TR at times is the overreaction to anybody offering any playful or even thoughtful criticism. Ppl here are weirdly intolerant of negativity. Thats actually somewhat appealing considering most of the country has the exact opposite problem.

Exactly my sentiments. I had realistic hopes of making a regional but that was it. Definitely not a national seed. They have exceeded both. Not to mention this series is only one game in.

College baseball has legit parity now. Look at what's happening in the regionals and super regionals. Look what's happening to the SEC teams alone. This was a rebuilding year with all the talent lost. It's been a success no matter what happens now. I'm not saying CPM is anything close to perfect or faultless. Far from it. But the program is in fine shape.

Wouldn't a reasonable measuring stick be that you make a serious title run every 4 years? I don't think that's unreasonable in today's college baseball for a program of this stature. But right now, we are on target for 7 year absence from a serious run, with 3 or 4 teams in that time period that looked like they had the ability to make one.

am concerned with the fact that Beau Jordan, one of our "team leaders" has been benched for the 3rd time in the stretch run for being lazy in the field. It doesn't help that he and his brother aren't hitting either when that's literally all they can do.

I don't have anything against them but don't see the point in having them both in the lineup given their current struggle at the plate. Some may think they might normally be bench players on most LSU teams, but obviously no one has supplanted them yet.
