Their 3rd starter is a mid-week type guy. If we make it to Monday then you are looking at possible batting practice for both teams and fielding could determine it. We need Poche to be the Poche that shut down Rice.

They are a good team but chill. If this season went the way everyone was putting on we would not have even made the regionals. It's one game, they got shelled, it happens. Not sayings they will definitely move on but don't count your chickens yet. Their pitching staff could easily fold on Monday.

College baseball has legit parity now. Look at what's happening in the regionals and super regionals. Look what's happening to the SEC teams alone.
This was a rebuilding year with all the talent lost. It's been a success no matter what happens now. I'm not saying CPM is anything close to perfect or faultless. Far from it. But the program is in fine shape.

I am concerned with the fact that Beau Jordan, one of our "team leaders" has been benched for the 3rd time in the stretch run for being lazy in the field. It doesn't help that he and his brother aren't hitting either when that's literally all they can do. Tomorrow I hope Romero and Wofford get to play. Not much can be worse than 3-28.
