This is tremendously stupid by Ed considering they are in nickel 75% of the time

The ones more likely are Aranda, Napier or Tucker.

So much for LSU being a top 5 coaching job if these guys are the best we can do.

Fun post. I doubt much of it's true though.

4. Noted that Coach O told Aramda to leave and find a job, because Ed O was changing defenses. Aldo noted that Aranda never showed interests in being a head coach until that happened and the Baylor opening occurred.

That doesn't seem to make sense when you consider how O said he called Aranda to see who he recommended for defensive coordinator after Pelini and Aranda recommended Daronte Jones. Then again, maybe that was Aranda getting the final laugh.

Aranda is an excellent coach who is probably about to win like 10 games in year 2 at Baylor after being one of the best DC’s in the country for a decade

***No Sauces this is me speculating***

Aranda is the front runner to be the next head coach. He has experience with the program, he has a world class defense, and he has proven that he can manage a P5 program as head coach. He’s not an offensive mastermind, but neither is Saban, if he can bring in the right OC then LSU would be dangerous with him at the helm

There are some drawbacks like how he isn’t the best recruiter, but a good manager can cover those weaknesses with strong personnel. It just means he needs a recruiting OC to help him

the bowl game

I'm not sure we get bowl eligible at this point. Arkansas is nearly as good as Ole Miss and Calzada is playing better lately for A&M. I don't have a good feeling about us winning either of those games.

We probably should just voluntarily extend our bowl ban another year and hope the NCAA accepts our self imposed penalties.

Sadly I kinda agree with this, why continue the embarrassment?

Completely agree.

He gets the right OC, he could be lethal.

Congratulations O. You got your “attacking style defense”. Probably the worse defense in LSU history.

I like Aranda. He was a helliva a DC at LSU who had the misfortune of working under an insecure idiot. My comment wasn't meant as a knock against him, more a knock against LSU's perceived status as a top coaching gig, if every one of the top names on Woodward's list tells him thanks but no thanks.

Noted that Tucker’s offense is not as high powered as LSU would like, that he would need to hire a really good OC.

If Tucker is hired then we know LSU’s new president is in control

Ummm, all you guys criticizing O because of this rumor forget what the forum was like in 2019??? 90% of the people here wanted Aranda fired, especially after the Ole Miss game. Don’t act like people weren’t upset at the guy.
