I think it’s fair to say the Box could use some upgrades, but to call it an embarrassment is ridiculous.
And no, we don’t need to take down the Intimidator

I think a more practical addition which would give LSU an unprecedented home field advantage would be suites set up like duck blinds at the foul poles, power alleys and on top of the scoreboard. I bet we could get duck commander to sponsor it. Give the fans duck calls and they could rent shot guns for shooting down any opposing teams potential home runs. Just make sure you call the outfielder off before you shoot.

The bleachers are terrible to look at and sit on. They look like temporary bleachers brought in for a concert or monster truck racing.

We have been saying this the past few seasons, but I think that was mostly just something we as fans wanted more than stuff that really needed to be done.
Now though, with all the SEC schools either renovating or just building completely new stadiums, in the next few years they will have to do something to keep pace. I think the whole “we have the best facilities” is something they’re proud of and something they use in recruiting, but it’s really not the case anymore.

No it doesn’t. College and minor league players have gone on record that it’s one of the nicest they’ve seen.

The Box is much like LSU football

The Box when it was built was a huge disappointment but what isn't in the state of Louisiana.

Didn’t they say they moved the bleachers from the old box to the new one because that was what the season ticket holders wanted. At the time it was built it was one of the better stadiums. Over time schools actually invested in their teams stadiums and the New Box fell off and is now middle of the pack.

I will say that it is nicer than many minor league parks and especially the one closest to me. This thing is a eyesore located in a bad area in Richmond, VA. The Flying Squirrels/VCU play in the worst stadium in America and it has been "renovated"...
The covered areas with advertising is crumbling literally, so they covered it.

The name “Intimidator” is most certainly embarrassing because nobody, and I mean nobody, is intimidated by it. Either use that space for a huge message board or take it down a pay tribute to the championships with flags or some other signage.

The OP is 100% correct. He’s saying that upgrading what he listed would make the box look better. How can you say it won’t?
The people who commented that they built the Box cheap are 100% correct. The Box has always looked unfinished. It looks temporary. When the Box opened, they didn’t have water fountains. It wasn’t thought through the way it should have been. You cannot say that it was.
