The Box definitely needs an upgrade, but the majority of your ideas are stupid.

You’ve obviously never been in there and then been to other SEC pools.... place is a shithole that was built as cheap as possible 35 years ago for some Olympic festival. Probably the worst natatorium for a major school in the country

Re the several "cheaply built" comments, remember that this was Skip's Crown Jewel of stadiums and he traveled the country and spent yrs putting it together. The New Box is 100 % Skip's. Outside the SEC, it's the Mecca of college baseball. Non conference visiting teams are in awe of it. Inside the league, it's still a great ball park, with the crowds having a lot to do with that, but it is far from # 1 in the league. Attendance / lack of money is not the problem.

I agree that Alex Box could use some well thought out upgrades - but overall it's a nice park but it seems fan opinion of the park keeps diminishing over time for some reason. I'm sick about hearing about State's ballpark. Admitting you are jealous of State for any reason is just weak.
We need to tone down the hyperbole though. Alex Box is by no means an "embarrassment ". The intimidator is great but even if you didn't like it calling it an "embarrassment" is just stupid hyperbole.

If the box gets all the upgrades that you mention then people would bitch about it having no resemblance to the old box whatsoever. Bottom line, no upgrades will make everyone happy.
And why are people so obsessed with a slab of grass? Is it just because other schools have it? I’d prefer seating ( even if it’s just bleachers) to the ground.
