you have to look at it from the bowl venues perspective, and not just records
they want to fill those seats with a good game
like it or not, manziel has a TON of eyes on him no matter where he plays and is worth a crap load of advertising $$$$

Seems like Mizzou would be a better fit in the Cotton than in any of the FL bowls.
I hope we get to play the best team we can whatever bowl it turns out to be.

I just looked at the Outback Bowl twitter and they've retweeted stories about LSU and Iowa in the last couple days. Looks like that's the matchup they want if its there for the taking.
