You realize we played 4 top ten teams and are 2-2, and Alabama played two top ten teams and is 1-1? I didn't realize Les made the schedules.

I do not hear one Saban coached BAMA defense players making any name in NFL...

I'm pretty damn happy with our program. We're always in the mix, stay out of trouble with the NCAA(for the most part,) have a great graduation rate, always on TV, win 10-11 games a year...and on and on. The kids love Les, and would go to war for him, they all come back/give back to the school when they can. What's not to like? It's unrealistic to think that we will win the NC every year, and frankly that would get a little boring. Even Nicky said it's more fun to build a dynasty than it is to sustain it. I've been around long enough to remember when we would have killed for 75% of the success we have now.

I'll address your post with a few facts as well.

FACT: 2011 the "great Saban-lead Bama team" LOST at home to a more talented LSU team led by Les Miles. It's safe to say Miles outcoached Saban.

FACT: Saban had to go on national television to lobby for a spot for Bama to get into the NCG DURING the SECCG of which LSU won and Bama wasn't even a part of....how embarassing is that!?

FACT: Bama/Saban had to have media giant, ESPN, lobby for them to get a second chance at LSU in the NCG b/c they had a better loss (NOT better wins, mind you, but a better LOSS) than OSU..another conference champion besides LSU that blew out their last opponent, Oklahoma. Let's not even mention how some of the analyst completely changed their POV after the Bama loss to LSU...cough((Mark May))cough

FACT: Bama's tradition has carried them somewhat and the media propogates them which is often unfounded, just like USC at the beginning of this year. Remind me...what is their record now?

That is so great! First time I saw it I said every recruit should be shown that...to show how much position and respect he has for every player!
