Lmao. Did you go to sleep 3-4 years ago and just wake up? You get 30-40 million dollar roster or you get patience. You don’t get both.

You can’t even type up your message and then edit any errors, you dickhead, so nobody is going to give much of a rat’s arse what you’re spewing.

Year 1 for OM and KY coaches too. They seem to have it together.

OM is not the same situation as other coaching changes and you know it. That’s completely disingenuous. Golding was there for a few years, they have several staff holdovers, their OC used to coach there and they retained more players than anyone else going through a change did.

UK will end the season just as up and down as the rest of the schools going through coaching changes. Or maybe you missed the 2nd half of their Bama game or the first half of their USCe game. They’ve got at least 2 more losses coming.

We expect to lose to teams like Texas and Bama but we’ve already lost to two teams with less talent and far fewer resources. No matter how you spin it we are not in a good place right now. Kiffin is getting out coached and his assistants are really letting him down.

While you might normally be right, Ole Miss has more talent than we do on offense this season. That isn’t even debatable. They have the better QB, RB (when healthy), WR corps and OL. We have them at TE when Green returns and maybe on depth.

A lot of that is retained talent and you don’t generally pay as much for that as you do portal shopping. You don’t have to pay upwards of $40 mil on a roster when you aren’t having to make mass replacements.

ETA: some of you are evidently allergic to truth.

It’s year 1. You do not go though the gauntlet of the SEC unscathed. If any of you keyboard warriors could demand the $ at your job the way LK does, you would be coaching against him and lose.

I don't remember anyone picking us to go undefeated.

My expectation and I think everyone's here though is that we beat Kentucky -who also has a first year coach, new staff and alot of new players and were worse than we were last year. I think that is/was absolutely "attainable".

I mean I guess you missed the part where UK has two OT wins by one point. If he would’ve lost those which he easily could have and honestly should have, it would be a different talking point.

Kentucky is just o.k., which is why us losing to them by any means are margin should not be acceptable or excusable to anyone here. It honestly surprises and disappoints me how many folks are rationalizing it.

Cause it was a winnable game against an unranked opponent. Lsu has 3 times the funds for most of UK’s sports program.

So.. Just so I’m following.. nothing to say when shits good. But after a loss you can’t stop posting about it

But for the love… we cannot find any consistency whatsoever to be elite every year…. And it’s disappointing.

Drunk Pete inherited a team that was built over six years with a Heisman level QB, not the same.

We lost by one point in their stadium and they needed all the help they could get from corrupt zebras, who no doubt are taking orders from Birmingham

Which win this season was great? We have yet to win a game on road in years and against a ranked team this year.

Yeah im criticizing the team. You don’t think they need to be held accountable? Just baby the team and see how it works out.

LSU = Next Year U will only work for a little while longer.

That unlimited money spigot expects results, I can guarantee that.

Who do you think built that OM roster?

The same guy that went 11-1 last year with 30+ transfers, including a 1st year (at Ole Miss) transfer at QB, RB, top 3 WRs, multiple OL and multiple defensive players. You hired Lane because he's been good in the transfer era of assembling rosters largely comprised of transfers, winning with them immediately, then doing it all over again. Now we have the "it's year 1" excuse?

Also, you think kentucky wins that game in tiger stadium? I dont

Unfortunately, the SEC is mean and makes its teams play road games too. In a perfect world we'd all get ice cream for lunch every day and play every game at home. Good teams win on the road. On that note, UK has already has more road wins this season than LSU has in two seasons

In this age rosters are largely "one-offs". There's far less "building" than was the case when the only means of adding talent was, primarily, HS signing classes. That means the timeline for success is greatly expedited.

An expectation that LSU would go undefeated this season was too much. That it would be a playoff contender? Absolutely reasonable.

It still might be a CFP teams. Teams can get in with 2 losses. B it's not even mid October and we already have the excuse, "just wait until next year", "we almost one", "they would not have beaten us at home" train rolling.

You’re a disingenuous piece of shite if you’re gonna sit here and say that the Clemson win wasn’t huge at the time

Same for A&M but not as big, I’ll give you that much
