It is a pretty lame place to have it, but I would never think I should have any say so over such a thing.

Wonder if LSU is going to put the one they get tonight next to Cannon’s, or find another spot?

“ Each year, the Heisman Trust commissions two bronze trophies, each weighing 45 pounds. One goes to the winner, and the other goes to his school. The schools often erect shrines for their copies of the prestigious award. USC, for example, has a kneeling Trojan surrounded by the school’s Heisman trophies.”

Lucky for you Joe has to sign a contract that he can not sell the trophy ever.

New rules. I think Ricky Jackson was the last winner that did not sign the contract

Edited to say: Ricky Williams LOL sorry someone down the thread caught the mistake

They did not until 1966. When Steve Spurrier donated his trophy to UF, the NYAC decided that they would award 2 trophies. One to the player, and one to the school.

Hey dumbass...The owner tried to give it back to his wife when he passed and she said she wanted it displayed right where it is. He also paid to have his Statue built.

You are talking out your arse about things you know NOTHING about.

It is where it is at the FAMILY's request.

But Billy Cannon’s Heisman is different from all others.
Anyone know why?
