This will be the third and final LSU vs. Bama game that I will endure during my tenure here in Alabama. It is unbelievable how arrogant some of these fans are this year. I noticed it during the Ole Miss week and the Texas A&M week. I am not saying that they weren't arrogant in the years past, but its just on another level this year. When talking about the LSU game its almost as if these Bama fans expect to walk in to Death Valley and blow us out. I cant tell you how many conversations I have heard about the low point spread. Half of these people I work with were throwing a fit that it wasn't over over 10 points.

I cant wait for this game tomorrow, and hopefully I will be able to walk in to work monday with a big cheesy arse grin on my face. Unfortunately, since Ive been here, I don't know what it feels like to do that after an LSU win over Bama. Geaux Tigers!

I almost posted this too. It's comical, they feel like I would if they were playing Yazoo city community college.

Apparently, this game is already in the bag.

There is nothing more annoying than an arrogant gump. Throw into that the current losing streak and it's even worse. My parents live there. I couldn't do it

We were in a bar in Orange Beach watching the Iron Bowl in 2013. I hate both Auburn and Bama, of course my hatred for Bama is higher. When Auburn won that game at the end, it was epic to see the look on the Gumper's faces. I will never forget that! My heart goes out to all Tiger fans that have to live in Bama land

Lighten up Sally. It's Friday. Comment was directed over the mental strain of having to live in gumpland for many years not PTSD from service related.

I know your pain.

I feel like the fans/local media are looking ahead to the iron bowl, and viewing this game as a guaranteed W. Its kind of comical.

Yeah. The military has me moving. I may be back due to job opportunities here, but for now I will be gone.

I live in Limestone County. I have not noticed anything like that in the Huntsville area, but I have travelled to and through other places in Alabama and the sisterly/brotherly love is legit. The Huntsville area is like an anomaly, believe it or not. Its actually pretty nice (please God forgive me).

May the Lord Jesus be with you while you reside in the land of Satan and Beelzebub.

The arrogant pricks from Gumpville is evident no matter where you reside.
Watching them crumble when they lose is priceless.

I lived in Tuscaloosa for five years - was there during Gene Stallings national championship. Best though was in 93 when Churley Hallman's team beat the defending national champions. Hardly heard a peep out of the Gumps for a week or so after that.

At least the Gumps have a reason to be arrogant. Trying living in a heavy Aggy foothold, Gump level arrogance with zero reason to show for it.

I live in Gulf Shores.
Was headed back to BR for the game, but got roped into coaching a soccer tourney in Orange Beach.

Will be watching the game with 20+ Gumps.
Bringing a tray of corn dogs, fried chicken gumbo, LSU overalls, and a gallon of beam to Mobile.

I've got that faith that I will be drinking their salty tears after the Tigers stomp that arse!

Not funny. You do realize his name is army dude? That means he is military. The rate of suicide among military is high due to experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan. You should rethink next time you post stupid shite like that.
