We walked right past him…the blonde was nice and Coach O looked cut. Glad he’s enjoying life.
I’ll see him every now and then at the gym in St. Gabriel. He must still have a place around town or come back often to visit.

And Orgeron had very little to do with it.

Ensminger found Brady with the Saints.

Safety Coach Bill Busch recruited and landed Burrow because of his contacts in Ohio.

Aranda was already here.

O was a great cheerleader running up and down the sidelines staying out of the way.

He got caught in the Perfect Storm while all the Planets were Aligning in 2019..

Two years later he was a "Gern Pecen" but not before hiring Brad Davis to replace James Cregg.

Louisiana Lifer Sycophants still idolizing and worshipping their hero. ? ? ?

Burrow sure seemed to appreciate Orgeron in his heisman speech.. Maybe you know more than Joe? We fired Coach O at the right time, but let's not be stupid about 2019.

Coach OOOOOOOO!!! Coach OOOOOOO!!!

How can yall not love Coach O? He loved LSU and did a lot to bring us back to relevance after the Miles years. The program could have crashed hard after Miles got canned. He saved us, gave us the best college football season and team of all time, and was completely fine with just getting out of the way for the Tigahs!

Best result they've had in over 3 weeks...they should keep him on retainer.

come on, now. O caught lightning in a bottle with Burrow and Brady.

Now yes, O gets credit for bringing them in, but Burrow wasn't in high demand at the time. And O wasted Burrow and all the other NFL talent on offense in 2018 under Ensminger's pedestrian offense.

Only when Brady came in 2019 was it all unleashed.

2019 was glorious, but the program when straight downhill after Burrow and Brady left.

Crazy how a morning radio sports show was more than just a little involved in Ed becoming HC. I was a fan of this because I vehemently disliked Les as our HC and Ed was the exact opposite of Les.

It worked, but politics, covid & Ed’s mental capacity & lifestyle shortened all that. A lot of posters predicted he would not have long term success, but I’ll take that one magical season.

It's certainly not new. Some of them have likely been melting since he was hired a decade ago.

You're full of fricking shite too.

Maybe not so much the X's & O's. He'd even admit that, but a coach has to make decisions every day from a whole range of things you wouldn't even think about.

Maybe?
What happened, after he was fired?
Without his WR recruits, Daniels never wins the Heisman and Kelly never wins the West. The team kept going down, down, down....
We have yet to recover.
Maybe Kiffin leads us the recovery
