That was caused by Thompson being weak and not a leader. He needs to take charge there. He thought Merrifield was going to get that one then at the end Thompson realized it was his ball. If he goes after it from the start he doesn't drop it.

The issue was that he didn’t use his fricking words and call for the ball so Merrifield was flopping around in his peripheral vision and caused him to drop it
