Agreed! Dude’s bat woke up late and he has power. Also with NIL $$ out there I’m sure it could be more than round 17, pick 23 right??

That lineup looks awful. Guarantee there's 3 newcomers that we don't know yet playing MI and OF plus some pitchers. Jay won't put that lineup on the field. Also Jobert and Travinski are draft risks

who are 2 cats RIGHT NOW that were on IR this year that could join Hurd in the 3 man rotation??

If you're talking about Taylor, Shores, and Edwards, don't count on any of them for next year. These threads are a waste of time right now. Go back and look at our roster a week after our season ended last year and see how it compared to opening day

Correct. Middle infield and outfield will heat up more in the portal. Tanks may not even play 3B next season - he can DH or play 1B now that he's proven that he can play 3B. Pitching is already pretty hot in the portal, but I'd expect a splash or 3 now that Yeskie is the publicly known captain of the ship. Let's also not discount the class coming in.

Why did you leave Brady Neal off?

Griffin Herring could be a nice LH P2.

Jobert ain’t coming back. Frey will most likely be your starting RF. Jays high on him

Sorry. forgot about Neal. So the reason I made this is because I’m bored AF!! Was checking out HVL’s pics and lemme tell you baws….. THAT BROAD IS RIPPIN HOT!!!

ETA. Plus she can hoop. When I was in school in the 80’s Don Reddon’s sister Roxanne played (also dated Ricky Blanton) and she drew guys to the games. It’s just the way of the world. Laws of attraction. Like the girls who drool over those soccer guys, it is what it is. Plus it helps HVL also has skills. Gonna be a fun season for the girls. Now the guys……we better pray!

You don’t know this. Jobert is waiting to see where he goes in the draft and what money he is offered, then he will make his decision.

Also can’t imagine a girls night out in Tigerland with Livy and HVL in tow. They would absolutely need a security detail to keep the hounds off!!

This is simply not true. He has a chance to hit 3 or 4 in the lineup next year and really boost his stock. Will be interesting to see if/where he goes in draft this year.

He will lose any leverage if he comes back
He hit over 300 in sec play compared to 200 last year

I can't see Guidry pitching more than a few scattered relief outings next season.

Curious to see how Braswell does. Not a great hitter but not a bad hitter either. Seems like a good glove too. I also feel like Guidry is your starting SS, so that’d move Braswell to 2nd I am guessing.

Most likely all 3 of these guys are gone. Brady Neal will be the Catcher.

Jobert cannot “boost his stock” by coming back due to lack of leverage.

He would only come back because he loves to play for lsu & does not care much about playing professionally.

I will be mildly surprised if Javen Coleman is not a weekend starter. That guy was shaping up well before TJ, and he had a couple of good outings this season. But he got started late and never developed the consistency necessary.

If you shifted Hurd’s start to the season to align with Coleman’s Hurd would have been right in the middle of his struggles when the tournament started. He probably would not have taken the mound during the playoffs.
