Also can’t imagine a girls night out in Tigerland with Livy and HVL in tow. They would absolutely need a security detail to keep the hounds off!!
Both of these girls should probably look into getting a restraining order against you, from the sound of your posts...

That’s the way the world used to work. With NIL he can get paid in college to make up the difference.
Lol you’re talking a little NIL money. He isn’t going to command six figure NIL. It’s going to not only depend on where he is drafted but by what team. Even if he goes later a team may have the ability to pay over slot.
Jobert improved his hitting but his lack of speed and defense aren’t going to translate well to MLB. Love the guy but facts are facts.

I won’t disagree, but it is also grossly unfair to say he’s the #1 SS going into fall practices. That is what I was commenting on.
Again, can he be the starting SS next season, absolutely. Is he the starting SS next season, we’ll see.

If Ruddell is your starting RF we whiffed bigly in the portal.
Why do you believe that? He was one of our better hitters in the fall and you didn’t see him play enough to have an opinion on his defensive skills.

My bold prediction is that Jobert will be back, and he’ll be the starting second baseman next year.
Lol I hope he returns, but not at second base. You think dugas had bad range, jobert would be 10x times worse as far as range goes.
ETA: I don’t think he gets drafted, he doesn’t project very well as a professional prospect.

1. Pearson 7
2. Kling 8
3. White 5
4. Travs 2/dh
5. Jones 3
6. Jobert 9
7. Nipolt 4
8. Guidry 6
9. Neal DH/2
This is your best lineup. Period!
Neal and travinski will switch accordly to give legs a rest etc. It will work out perfect
Pitching
1. Hurd
2.
3.
BP
Herring
Guidry
Coleman
Ack
You literally cant pick a 2/3rd starter yet cause we truly dont know who will return or actually transfer.
2. Kling 8

This is way too early. Jay came out an said, he’s been busy with getting ready for next years team. You think his phones been ringing since Monday? How many players now want to come to LSU? He just announced his Pitching Coach, who now wants to come pitch at LSU? Every time Jay and Players were in front of a camera, they were doing a recruiting spill. Who wouldn’t want to be a Tiger? How many baseball players watched the College World Series? Saw the enjoyment made playing for Jay and LSU. Jay can hand pick players from the portal. A continuation of riches! Looks like we are going back to the Skip years, long overdue.

Tanner Reeves hit .422 with 20 HRs and 86 RBIs this past season. He’s gonna have a chance to play in the middle infield especially with his left handed bat.

You people thinking both Jobert and Travinski will be back are wild

Griffin Herring could be a nice LH P2.
I will be mildly surprised if Javen Coleman is not a weekend starter
Herring >> Coleman

For sure. He has a role on next year’s team for sure, but things have gone really wrong if Coleman is a weekend starter in SEC play.
Not completely discounting that they could have gone really right if his fastball upticks a few mph and he finds his command longer removed from TJ. I just think it’s much, MUCH more likely his best role is coming out of the pen in whatever capacity.

Lol, yeah how do you know this?
We talked to some of his family in Omaha. He is going to the draft according to them.

You don’t know this. Jobert is waiting to see where he goes in the draft and what money he is offered, then he will make his decision.
If he doesn’t go this year then he’s definitely not getting picked next year as a 5th year sr.

Why would Jobert only command a little NIL? For the same reason he would command a little signing bonus. You listed them, in fact.
