It’s going to cost LSU big time. I mean a lot of guaranteed money. Who in the hell will come and work for Kelly who is a lame duck? We will have to make a massive commitment in money for this project. Probably $20 million plus in players and contracts for Kelly to be fired in 1 or 2 years.

People are complaining about Kelly’s buyout, which is bad, maybe don’t realize how expensive this offensive reclamation project will cost. It’s going to be a lot of money.

Meh he’s had some guys come back.
Molnar coached for him at Cincinnati and at Notre Dame.
Denbrock coached for him at grand valley state Notre Dame and LSU
Bob Diaco worked for him multiple times
John Jansik worked for him multiple times.
Brian Polian did as well.

Colleges have got to quit giving guaranteed contracts to coaches. Why are coaches afraid of signing merit and performance based contracts? It's not like these guys are going to be homeless after getting fired.

He needs to bench Nuss right now, the problem is not OC. LSU had the best offense in the nation under coach O and Kelly with different OCs because the QBs were great. Kelley should be blamed for not getting a QB in the portal or not playing MVB.

Gruden at OC and when Baker gets poached this offseason for a low-mid tier HC shot and Kelly fails hiring a decent DC / rebuilding the defense Gruden begins his tenure mid season 2026 after Kelly gets sacked ??

What proven OC and OL coach would uproot their family and head to a likely one and done year under a lame duck coach.
I hope he finds someone willing to take the risk but afraid we will end up with the next Jake Peetz.
