She will miss 4 -5 layups a game or point blank shots in wnba too. For less money than she’s making in college most likely

Didn’t coach say she’s 6’ 2” but shoots like she’s 5’5”? I see her being completely average there but hope she tears them up. She has NO outside shot and she can’t develop one in a few months.

Do you actually think enough people here (or in general really) watch the wnba enough to give you an answer on this?
This! I can honestly say that I've never watched a WNBA game longer than two minutes. I just can't get into it.

Nothing or no one can save the WNBA. It’s just bad, really bad.

As Sylvia Fowles said when asked how Angels game would translate in the league: I’d kill Angel.

She is very athletic. She can handle the ball and run in the open court. She can rebound and plays good defense. She must develop a 10-12 shot.

Sylvia Fowles said it best: she’s a 4 not a 5 in the WNBA and in college, Angel has made her living as a 5.
She needs to ride the college train as long as she can.

She’ll leave LSU and will never be heard from again. Well, Shaq will keep her in our view for a brief moment.

Idk but she’s needs to stay in college as long as she can. Before going to the wnba and becoming irrelevant. I get that the NIL will go with her, but if she doesn’t perform, the NIL deals will quickly go away.

She likely already has more social media followers than any WNBA player. Brands pay for access to her followers, not her basketball skills.

Reese will be fine even if she doesn't perform well in WNBA.

She is a better college player than NBA. She is not a shooter and gets a lot of rebounds off her own missed layups which is very difficult to do against bigger more physical WNBA players.

I'm no expert but I think this is right. I think to be successful as a pro she needs to be able to consistently hit a jumper from the free throw line, which she can't do. Her game is one dimensional and I don't think that's going to translate to the WNBA.

I have no idea. She needs to play at LSU another year, regardless. There is a real chance she’ll lose money if she leaves.

guess that would explain all the media hype they are showering these girls with. That’s a good point because no one watches the WNBA which is likely why they’ve been making such big storylines out of these college players hoping that fans and viewers follow them to the WNBA since still no one watches that product.

Personally I’m an lsu fan and that’s why I watch the girls games. No matter how much I like any former tigers there’s not a chance I’d tune into the wnba. If not for the Pelicans I wouldn’t even tune into the NBA.

I seriously doubt anyone here watches the WNBA enough to answer this question.

WNBA? Not an LSU forum topic of interest. Doubt if she plays much once leaving LSU.

IMO, she won’t last long in the wnba unless she develops her mid range game. She misses a lot of close to the basket shots and gets her shot blocked at times. She translates as an undersized post without an outside shot.

what people?

Outside of the few people who follow women’s college basketball, no one knows who these players are.
