Did you also not know that Kim Mulkey is Kramer Robertson's mom or that Herman Johnson was the biggest baby born in Louisiana?
I hear Joe Burrow is an Ohio native.

I get the whole dual citizenship thing but come on! Born and raised in the USA and representing another country! That I just don’t get but whatever! And I’ve known that for a long time, still don’t get it!
It’s been said on this board numerous times. Number one is he is all but guaranteed to be in the Olympics every 4 years no matter what. In the US you have to compete in the trials and no matter what you have done all year one bad meet, which happens from time to time, and you don’t go to the Olympics.
Number two Track and Field is a bigger deal in Europe than in the US. He probably makes a lot more money in endorsements as a pole vaulter in Sweden than he ever would as one in the US. If you aren’t a swimmer, sprinter, or gymnast the US really doesn’t care about you.

For the person laughing about the Swedish coach promising to take care of his pole, You don't go to Walmart and buy one...He uses different poles for different heights and they are easy to damage, and hard to transport from place to place...

He's got a gold medal now. Cleared damned near 20 feet.

Interesting article, as a side note could you imagine him speaking Swedish with a Cajun accent?
I remember reading an article while he was at LSU where his father was talking about the lack of support and one could almost say obstacles that the USOC was providing. Whereas Sweden would pay for everything (Including his parent's salaries as coaches) and provide a much easier route...

He was not raised in Texas and moved to Italy when he has 3 weeks old. His father moved to South Korea and mother returned to her hometown Italy. Nice edit
He ran track here. He is a Us citizen. And I didn’t edit shite.

Kim will be 100 and Kramer 75 or whatever and people will still be posting this joke on the Rant. Youngins will ask the chip implanted in their heads who Kramer Robinson is…

Am I really the first person that’s going to acknowledge the cover photo used by the NYT is basically a close up of Mondo’s junk?
It’s a shame they scratched the original headline of “Louisiana pole star embraces Swedish roots by sticking pole (pictured below) into Swedish model, driving a Polestar 2 too”

Just in case some don't understand (which is possible with this bunch) Kramer Robertson, who played baseball for LSU, is the son of LSU's new WBB coach Kim Mulkey.
How about that for a coincidence?

I actually didn't know that either. Good piece and thanks for sharing.

Sweden pays for his travel and his dad to be his coach. USTAF only pays you once you make the Olympic team and it's not a lot. Sweden supports their T&F way more than most countries.
