the way most of the hitters have shown a lack of hitting from about at least 4 or 5 spots then Mitchell Sanford should be given at least a 5 game chance to prove he can earn a spot in this weak hitting line up, giving him one chance here or there isn't gonna show shite...I c e watched the kid play over the years and he is better than some of players that are playing. He was a superior player to dugas for ex. in hs when they played not far away from each other..

On a side note
I can't lie tho, the team got those beards and mullets undefeated

All I know is Hellmers is not the answer there. He practically gave the game away with his trio of errors.

Safford or Bianco. I think Bianco is a team leader and it would be good to find a place for him on the field. Put him at third until he proves otherwise. Safford can handle center for a little while.

What happened to Hampton? Good lord that kid needs to do something. And I talking about him being in center not third. If he doesn’t start showing something soon he might be a wash in both sports.

In my opinion you can’t really play two sports at a power 5 school in modern collegiate athletics. Especially if one of them is being a hitter in the SEC. The arms are too good to just miss 6 months out of the year and then another few weeks during the season and be able to pick up a bat and face those guys.

Team leaders don’t hit less than .100.

Pretty much any one but Hellmers. Hell, put Morgan over there and you'd still be better off.

Yep, this is also why I always laugh about people getting excited for football/basketball kids thinking they even have a remote shot of playing both sports at any sort of decent level in the same year. You just cant juggle that in today's landscape, especially in a conference like ours that is very good in football and baseball and certainly talented enough in basketball where you'll just get left behind if you dont concentrate enough on 1 vs. the other.

This is the easy answer for sure. Cranford was fine at SS last year. Problem with PM every year is he develops favorites, ala Hughes, and he sticks with the NO MATTER how bad they may be!

Morgan to CF is probably the right move with Gio out.

Have you seen Morgan play OF? He’s pretty good at it.

Travinski should get time at 1B.

I’m a fan of bigger, heavier guys at 1B.

Hampton should be given a shot. If Gio is out a while, this is definitely his opportunity.

Morgan needs to remain at first base.
