So glad you asked....
When I was a kid (somewhere around 8-10 years old) watching them in the Hallman years, I cried a few times after close losses. I was inconsolable after we threw away the game against Auburn in 94.
I had a year to stew about it, but I was a year older and when Auburn came to TS in 95 I climbed, with my family, to the top row of the west upper deck, and I was excited but now mature enough to weather my expectations, especially considering they were a top 5 team and we were trying to rebuild after the worst era of LSU football.
But then we scored an early TD, and the defense played lights out, and Lo and behold we had a 6 point lead late. And then they started mounting a late drive. With every first down I got more nervous, thinking “oh Lord not again.” I remember holding my dad’s hand shaking when they lined up on 4th down with 4 seconds left. I couldn’t take it.
Then Troy Twillie intercepted Patrick Nix’s pass.
That is the only time in my entire life I have ever cried tears of joy. And not just cried, sobbed. My dad lifted me up and bear hugged me, I didn’t sleep for days, and 20 years later my Tiger Droppings handle was born.
Still the best LSU game I’ve ever experienced, and perhaps the single best memory of my childhood.

Indeed not! But I do not view the game but with anticipated success and pride.
It is a pride that I have had since childhood, I really want success for the LSU Tigers.
I did cry when Wally Pontiff died. But I guess that is altogether different.
Go Tigers!!!!!

Never cried. Closest I came was Warren Morris’s home run. The highest vertical leap in my life, repeated about four times. Still the most extreme 4 second reversal from despair to sheer bliss I have ever experienced.
Stayed up all night in 03, 07 and 19 though.

Cried after the championship game thinking how much my mom would have enjoyed it.

Probably the closest I've been was at the Burrow Heisman speech. Not that the result of games doesn't invoke some emotions but it's never made me cry. And not judging anyone that did. Just didn't hit me that way.

No.
I’m a huge fan, but getting emotional over a football game is for the weak; unless you are actually playing or have a son playing.

Never cried after a loss. I’ve been very pissed, and I’ve been angry for days (see 2011….) but no tears.
I teared up after 2003 but I was only 13. I teared up after 2012 Ole Miss, my last game as a student in tiger stadium.
I cried cried after 2019. Watched it with my wife at the Dome.

I’ve been moved to a few tears/watery eyes over a win, but have never shed tears over a loss.

I cried most of last year
This!! Watching that year unfold every week was beautiful. You can’t write and better story than how those men performed. One team one heartbeat!
