Where in my post did I say I gave up on him? Your post comes off just as emotional as all of those that want Kelly fired. You’re no different it seems…

YOU can expect it, that’s fine. It’s just not a realistic expectation, and most sane people realize this.

What I can’t live with is the stupid coaching decisions of going for it and not punting/kicking when we should,

I'm sure that 3 point swing that is only a 3 point swing in the worst case scenario really, really mattered in our 27 point loss.

Composite has LSU as the 8th most talented team in the country.

This team shouldn't be struggling to throw the ball, shouldn't be committing so many penalties, having so much trouble on special teams, missing so many tackles or having so many coverage busts. We have no identity on offense and seems like our OC is picking plays at random with no real plan to get the offense in rhythm or keep the defense off balance. All of that is on coaching.

I’ve said it 1000 times since Kelly was hired, Orgeron was let go because this program was rotting away not only because of him, but also going all the way back to Les Miles. We are talking what, 8-9 years of this program degrading because of poor leadership?

What in the world made any of you think that 8-9 years of poor program building would be corrected 8-9 months? It’s unrealistic, and frankly idiotic.

short answer is yes

Having said that, there's plenty of legitimate criticism of Kelly and his staff.

2019 skewed a lot of peoples perceptions on the program but you are totally right. 2019 has to be the biggest outlier in CFB history. It’s nuts to think about

Yes, it’s what happens when you are way too emotionally invested into something you have 0 control over

Brian Kelly is a great coach. It is also true that he got his arse handed to him today.

His ST coordinator is a garbage heap and should be fired tomorrow. His decision making was terrible from the coin toss and continued throughout the game.

He’s not above criticism.

It's only the ones that whine the most. Most people enjoy the game for what it is and go on about their business. I reserve my whining to during the game.

Dropped passes, penalties, ST mistakes, blown coverages, poor tackling, bad game management decisions are not talent issues.

I'll leave out a QB that can't read a defense because that is talent.

I support BK, but this is not acceptable. Especially since it has not improved half way through the season. Games 1-3 sure you should have some struggles. 5-6?

Les and O got rightfully criticized for questionable hires. Are Polian and Denbrock questionable hires? Realistically yes this is a rebuild. Realistically we should see improvement. Are we? Which unit? Which position group?

Needs more than one season to to rebuild a team. If two or 3 years from now this is still happening then I'll be concerned but way to early now to criticize.

Kelly had a terrible game. First he elected to play with his weakest unit (offense) instead of his strongest (def) at the onset. That resulted in disaster. Then he elects to go for it instead of kicking a Fg down 10-0. Later, at the end of the half, he leaves himself open for Tenn to score again already up 20-7. He was fortunate it was only 3 instead of 7. Tenn missed two earlier big passes inside 20 secs that could have given them time for a TD instead of the last sec Fg at half.

Due to Kelly’s decision to play offense on the coin toss, he left lsu vulnerable for the dreaded “2 straight scores” at end of half & first possession of 3rd Qtr which Tennessee proceeded to accomplish. After that it was game over for all practical purposes.

I can't speak for everybody but I agree that he needs time. That being said, there were so many coaching blunders tonight. It's more than fair to be critical of that stuff because talent doesn't impact that.

I can’t believe Woodard gave that dude 100 million/10 year contract. Nobody in college football besides Saban should get a 10 year contract.

Thats a truly ignorant statement since he's the winningest active coach in CFB!

If WINNING games doesn’t speak to a HC’s abilities then what exactly does genius?

Yea if you only look at the end result you are right if I’m interpreting your sarcasm correctly. Football is about building momentum and not digging yourself in a deep hole. Had we kicked that field goal and not gone for it on 4th down at midfield we probably go in at halftime with the score 20-10. Psychology that is much better than the 23-7 score that it was.
