As long as Caitlin Clark is playing it will be watched ALOT MORE these last two games.
I agree! I think LSU will be fine next year though because Poah can take PG and Sa'Myah Smith will be back. She is just as special as Flau'jae Johnson.
I figured at the very least she would be getting a 10 year 50 or 60 million contract. Better start figuring out a better contract if she wins two years in a row.

Very surprised the kid did not transfer and rushed over 1,500 yards of rushing somewhere else.
"Not doing that beats throwing interceptions."

I'm so tired of hearing stupid comments like this! We are not winning shite if we don't start doing that. I rather more points and being competitive if even if it means throwing an interception.

Just imagine if Nuss had the game experience and reps that JD has. Interceptions will not be a problem like some idiots think because he will get better and better. JD has reached his ceiling and won't change after 5years playing.
To be fair. Shaquille got suspended for 1 game before they were supposed to play Kentucky. They beat Kentucky pretty good with shaq that year. We will never know but if shaq had been able to play then who knows if they win the championship that year.
I see the posters point and I agree to an extent, but again it's not a fact that we wouldn't of had success with someone else too. That is his opinion and I'm good with that, but it could of been even better with someone else, the same, or worse. I'm just happy that we exceeded expectations and going in the right direction.

re: Pick a QB via Stats

"But what do you know about 2023? This is simply lining two QBs stat lines and asking which is better"

You forgot to add one MAJOR stat!!

One was a FIRST (year) time starter.
The other is a FOUR year college starter.

Now I want you after next year post the numbers on the second year starter (2019) and post the 5th year college starter (2023).

I believe you will see the difference and that will be a fair comparison. Lol.

"Bruh Joe Burrow transferred into LSU two months before the season started as a first year starter on a new team, AND won 10 games.. No comparison."

And a New Years 6 Bowl. Lol.
"The key to Daniels' improvement is the development of our running game; it was not good last year."

The key to JD development is to pass the ball down field or we will never have a running game. Lol.
"If Jayden were to make it to NYC, there’s a few people on here who will need to be on suicide watch"

That would mean that he actually finally got over his fear of getting intercepted and actually started throwing the ball. That's the only way he makes it to NYC
Great clip! Now he just needs to do that on a consistent basis. Not just 5 highlight clips throughout the year. Sure he can throw it but didn't do it enough. I have seen progress though so hopefully he let's it rip next year, or we won't win a natty.
"The difference between 2018 Burrow and 2019 Burrow, was JOE BRADY. Meet back here December 2023."

That's a stupid comment!! The difference is Joe wasn't scared to throw the ball when the plays were called. Especially with one on ones. Brady might of called in the play, but the QB is the one that has to make it happen with the receivers. I truly think it was the other way around. Joe Brady and Orgeron looked good because of Joe Burrow. Put Joe Burrow in this past years offense and you would have seen passes down the field all year.
"BK prefers to have a dual threat QB, trading off some passing for more mobility".

Did you not see BK early in the year yelling at JD about to pull his hair out because he wouldn't throw the ball. He constantly yelled at JD during the games. BK definitely wants to pass down field!! He likes JD because he believes with his dynamic running ability it helps adds another dimension to the offense because he can also make plays with his feet. I think BK believed he could coach JD in the passing. He has gotten better at times, but we shall see soon enough.
"We should then be looking for more of what we want in a OC and qb coach for the future."

Denbrook is not the problem. There were guys open on many plays he called but the QB didn't see them or throw it. I'm not going to judge his play calling just yet because we don't have a true pocket passer at the moment and he probably can't open up the playroom like he wants with JD. I evaluate him after 2 or 3 full seasons, not 1 with all new players. Don't think that's a fair evaluation for his 1st year.
"Beating Bama is a big deal"

So is being able to pass consistently instead of only passing for 90yds against teams we are supposed to beat.
"Then why did he have 200 yds passing in 1st half against #1 defense in GA game? With a bum ankle and no running game and #99 in the backfield every play. You guys crack me up."

WHY? Because he actually started throwing the ball! Lol. Which was actually great to see. Not let see if he can continue that on a consistent basis.
"ou same clowns that keep bringing this shite up everyday, every week are going to be miserable for a long time especially if Daniels comes back next season… if he does come back, he’s going to be LSU’s starting QB.. that’s alot of crying from now till then… LoL"

If he comes back and throws down the field then know one is going to give a shite if he is our starting QB and no one will be crying that's all we want! Regardless if it's Nuss, Daniel's, or Howard. Why can't people on here understand this!! No one here hates or will be mad or cry if Daniel's is the QB and plays like one.
If teams respect the pass then we will have a running game. If we can't pass then we will never excell in the run game because you become one dimensional. Can't have a running game when teams stack the box because they are not worried about the passing threat.
"What LSU NEEDS is a QB that can win. One that extend plays when the pocket breaks down. One that CAN keep drives alive. One that doesn't turn the ball over."

We don't need a QB that can just win. We need a QB that can pass down field to stretch the field and win a national championship.
"don't have a problem with a running QB if he averages 100+ yrds per game and puts up 250+ passing."

That would be great! We Just had to many 100 yd rushing and under 100 yd passing games this year that don't care to keep seeing. We will see soon enough!
