Do you know what a deal or compromise is? Usually involves one side giving the other something, and vice versa.

Smart move to carry in NOLA. Pat him on the back and give him a high five for being smart and protecting himself. Pay to enroll him in a concealed carry course as a reward.

Can’t fault the kid. You almost need to look like Rambo holding a machine gun and a few belts of ammo around your neck to go to Latoya’s world.

That's kinda funny.

Really? It’s because police are naturally attempting to keep guns off the streets and he was carrying the gun without a license and so they are willing to drop the charges if he doesn’t keep the gun. It’s called negotiation. it’s not that difficult.

Who's gun was it? Why are they stealing it? Nabers isn't a thug.

Just get a license to carry then. He wouldn’t be in this position if he had. Again it’s not that difficult.

Am I the only one who might possibly be somewhat happy this happened, depending on the circumstances? Obviously we don’t know all the facts, but I’m not generally a fan of our star football player, who may or may not have proper training on how to handle a gun, wondering around the French Quarter partying with a pistol in his pocket.

Idiots were actually saying he should be kicked off the team

According to NOLA news, they won't press charges as long as the police keep the gun....Latoya says we're getting guns off the street. DA wont press charges. The Perp walks away from the arresting officer in the spot.

Wonder where all these guns will show up at? hmmm....

That makes this "deal" even more ridiculous.
Surrender a gun worth a few hundred dollars or have that conviction on his record. Seems like a no brainer and not a ridiculous offer at all. I’d argue it was a great offer. That offer isn’t even very unusual.

I do. The NOPD and Judicial System is under-staffed and overwhelmed with serious stuff to deal with. It’s as simple as, ‘look, get the f out of here but you don’t get your gun back’… “OK - Thanks”

What a disaster.....the damage has been done, IMO.

I carry everywhere I go, but you couldn’t pay me to go to NO or any other libtard run city. They’re all war zones.
Nabers had no business being in NO for Mardi Gras. Hopefully this teaches him to make wiser decisions.

Guess what the criminals don’t care. What that place needs is more good people with guns. Criminals would care about that.

Fixed it for you. Gun laws should be waived if you are an American.
