34 point lead in the second half, and he blew it.

Only because we got Aranda, if we still had Kevin Steele, I'd be pissed.

Couldn't be happier. Getting Steele sucked but now we are so much better off. Watching Chavis continue to piss away games makes me smile after what he did to us

I was thinking the same thing. This guy can make any coach look bad.

To be honest, Kevin Steele is not that bad. He has Auburn defense dominate. Imo he is better than Chavis at this point.

The only thing it prevents is his own team from winning the game.

Thrilled. I just hope they don't fire him before he pays us our $400K.

I know he had a bad stint at Clemson but I don't think he's as bad as what people make him out to be. I do like his aggressiveness.

Chavis really is bad. Luckily we had AMAZING talent that helped mask his flaws while here. Eventually it caught up to him

That's not on him. His defense ran out of gas when their qb was injured and they had to go into CLM mode

You could see the UCLA win rolling down the tracks like a runaway freight train.

Our scoring defense in 2015 was really bad though. Not sure how he's put up such improved numbers at Auburn.

judging by that UCLA game, Lou Tepper might be a better option now than Chavis.

I said it when he left that is was a good thing. I was never a fan. However, I had no idea we would get a great coach like Aranda at LSU. We got the best end of that deal, without question

The way Chavis left and now the lawsuit leaves me with no love for him. And he wasn't a good recruiter. And yes 3rd & Chavis.

But with all that said he helped win and keep us in games.

Glad he is gone, yep, Aranda is great, but as someone mentioned, Steele was a clear downgrade from Chavis.

We were lucky Steele left.
