I don't worry with Chavis. I'm just happy we have Aranda.

I watched that game, and in the last quarter it was 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Forth and Chavis; they were spent...

You were all right. Dude is a has been. Our entire program needs to be burned down and rebuilt from the ashes. Tonight set us back years.

Yeah. They hired Cooper, who I consider the best DB coach in the country. Those 2 will improve this defense and Coop can recruit his arse off. He gave us the best DB backfield we've ever had and look at USCe dbs when he was there.
If somehow Sumlin survives this shitstorm, they will be a very good team provided their freshman QB isn't done for the season.

Didn't realize Ron Cooper had rejoined Chief but uhh

I've never heard Cooper called a good recruiter. There was some recruiting shadiness at SC not long before he left there and per some on TD, some at LSU as well.

He is one of the best DB coaches and around though.

Understatement - Aranda is by far the best DC in the country. Thank AU for taking Steele off our hands too.

LSU should release a statement tomorrow saying they're dropping the lawsuit. That game was enough punishment for Chavis and eaTme. They deserve each other and LSU is much better off.

The only way I see Kevin Sumlin surviving is if he releases Chavis and has a good run in SEC play

I always thought the 3rd in 3rd and Chavis meant down, not quarter

He should have been called "4th Quarter Collapse" Chavis. No lead was ever safe with his prevent defense.

You are correct. However he is now 1st, 2nd and 3rd and Chavis.

What would it cost us to underwrite a huge BLM protest in College Station to save Sumlin's job? I'm sure the other SEC schools will chip in.

I've never been a Chavis fan! I can't count how many times teams drove down on us in the last minutes of the clock and scored. Just thought our defense under-performed at times and our defensive alignment was off during critical times of the game. Hated that he played that prevent defense late in games. I've always thought he was overrated. Good, yes. Great, no!

He was always bad. However, the slob has now become "2nd half and Chavis!!"
