Fine, agreed. Leave him in to finish the job. But this same board many times condemns others when it goes against LSU

I hope you really aren’t like this in real. This is just a message board persona that you take on for whatever reason right?

Dear Simple Jack, why do you keep making this claim over and over in the thread you started?

I hated the thought of overworking him in that OK game for example.

Dumbass. He wasn’t “overworked” in that game. His velo wasn’t dropping off plus he had an extra day off.

It’s not like he was pitching 130 every week. Also if anything, it only helped his already great draft stock on the biggest stage before MLB

Its player to player and a good coach knows his guys.

Not only that, it’s game to game too. Jay also did not make that decision alone. Anderson had a say, Yeskie was involved, the athletic trainer was asked between the late innings after evaluating him. Would not shock me if he also checked with Hernandez to make sure Kade was hitting his spots

High school freshman in the state of Louisiana are allowed to throw 115 in a game and pitch again 4 days later.

We’re gonna say a 21 year old cant throw 15 more?

The frick outta here.

Surely you have an example and you're not just talking out of your arse.

Right?

Are we really bringing stuff like this up now??

The season is over bruh. LSU is national champions. Kade Anderson is still perfectly healthy. Life is great.

So you want others to state their position but you don’t give yours? Btw the implication is you are against it just by starting this.

hes already had Tommy John surgery. believe it or not, that factors into the decision regarding how many pitches coaches are comfortable with letting him throw

During the broadcast they mentioned talking to JJ and he said Kade was well rested and they felt like they could get 125-130 pitches out of him if he was on.

They obviously discussed it and knew what he was capable of. He threw over 100 pitches 11 times this season, over 100 in each tournament start and a high of 135 vs OK.

He pitched in 11 SEC games and went over 100 pitches in 7 of them(3 games over 110 and 109 in the Arkansas series).
