This is a major move to improve Lane Kiffin's image IMHO. He's taking the high road and it's brilliant. Probably doesn't help LSU in terms of immediate recruiting efforts but it makes LSU look good and it makes Ole Miss look bad for NOT letting Kiffin coach in playoffs. Will Wade part2.

What’s to keep any of these guys from staying at OM?

Their families being in BR? Contracts? Integrity?

Ol’ Piss must have been desperate to allow it because I am certain there will be transfers to LSU out of this.

You'd be doing yourself (and us) a favor if you'd just STFU for a while. You made an absolute fool of yourself saying over and over again, "Lane's staying!"

Now you're panicking about the staff.

Plus it will give them experience game planning and play calling in a playoff game

As long as they have signed their new contract with LSU I would feel better. Some of them could change their mind. I'm sure LK got a firm commitment before letting them loose.

Maybe it’s not so much us helping Ol Miss. Maybe it’s more that Lane isn’t the monster the media makes him out to be and he actually cares about those boys and coaches he recruited and coached and formed bonds with and is trying to make the best out of a tough situation and do right by those people

There is a receivers coach and a slot receivers coach? College sports has more bloat in the coaching ranks than government.

Maybe the only reason that they actually agreed to come to LSU was if they would be allowed to finish the season at Ole Miss. So if they do end up back at Ole Miss, so what? They wouldn’t even have considered coming without be allowed to do it, so what’s the difference. You can’t force someone to do a job they don’t want to do. This isn’t communism.

I honestly have no opinion. It's a pretty random situation, but locker rooms are nuts. The players might be pissed at first, but then they're familiar with the coaches and want to win.

There seem to be so many on this board who live in fear. Stop letting every little thing send you into a tailspin.

CLK knows that team isn't good enough to win it all anyway. Also to keep those relationships in tact as close to the transfer portal window as possible.

You're probably in the minority, for sure.
