Yeah this is definitely the answer. I had a feeling of stunned disbelief the entire 2019 season. 1/9/12 is the most disappointment I’ve ever felt from a sporting event. 2011 was the last season that I was a student. I went to Dallas to see the Oregon game, went to all the home games, and went to the championship.

It was the same for me. Growing up, LSU winning a national championship in football wasn't even a dream because the concept was so foreign to me.

For whatever reason, the 2012 Bama loss hit me harder than the national title disaster earlier that year. Maybe it was apparent early on that LSU wasn't going to win that game, and by the end, I was at peace with it. I also didn't have a good feeling going into it.

I was catatonic walking out of TS on 11/3/12. The 2022 win finally brought closure to that nightmare.

High: 2003 NC, first in 'modern' era
Low: 3-58 1993 loss to Fla. I was at that miserable game

Every now and then, I think about 1/9/12 and then I watch Joe Burrow against Bama and it's like Christmas all over again.

Apart from the obvious 1/9/12, the "low" answer for me is the 2016 opener against Wisconsin at Lambeau. It was such a perfect day. The greatest day of tailgating I've ever had outside of Baton Rouge. Then Les, Cam Cameron, and Brandon Harris ... absolutely disgusting ...

The low: 1/9/12.
It was not the fact that we lost.
It was HOW we lost and the inexplicable failure by Les to try to adjust to anything ..

App. St gets a lot of love for the most hot game at TS but that Tenn one was hot and muggy, just miserable.

I was at both. The Tenn game was twice as hot. I know it’s not possible but it felt twice as hot. Easily the hottest game I’ve ever been too.

Lambeau was awful for sure because everything but the game was perfection that weekend. Caught a game at Wrigley the day before between the Cubs and Giants and it was just great weather all around. The party bus up to Green Bay was incredible. Knew Miles was getting fired after that loss though so it brought some happiness. Remember being at a wedding during the Auburn game and them running out of time and did a fist pump (terrible, I know) but I knew that was the nail in the coffin for him.

'03 Natty vs OU was so good because it was brand new but the season window that was 2019 was incredible.

The lows...watching what Lester Earl did to the b-ball program.

This is pretty easy:

HIGH: The night LSU whipped Clemson's arse for the National Championship to complete the greatest season ever in college football.

LOW: Being in Tiger Stadium to watch Spurrier's Gators march unimpeded to the end zone time after time after time in 1993. Florida won 58-3. We sucked something awful.

Even though the 2019 was my favorite season, nothing ever came close to the excitement from winning the '03 National Championship when we beat OU.

The low was actually a win but the '10 game against Tennessee might have been the most angry I have ever been at a game. I didn't even see the last play as I had thrown the remote on the floor and stormed outside.

A close second I would have to say would be the '06 Auburn game. That was more of frustration at the refs but I was pretty frustrated with that game as well.

That's because its always difficult to beat a good opponent twice in the same year. But maybe more so because, if LSU fans are willing to be honest, they knew deep down a loss that night was very possible because LSU was probably a bit fortunate to win the first game. While neither offense played great in that first game, LSU's did very little. Lee was an abject disaster. Alabama missed four FGs in a game where LSU only scored 6 points. A make on any one of those would have given Alabama the win. Likewise, it took an absolutely remarkable INT by Eric Reid to stop what likely would have been an Alabama TD.

Only one team could have beaten LSU that season. And when that one team backdoored their way into the championship it made the 9-6 victory irrelevant. More than that, LSU fans knew a loss in the championship game was very possible...which is why everyone was pissed to see Alabama again.

Every LSU fans was that night. We went from watching one of the greatest second halves in the history of TS where LSU was manhandling Alabama to a last minute stunning loss. Everyone walking out was thinking the same thing...WTF happened? How did we lose that game?

High: 2019 semi final vs Oklahoma. I want every LSU game I watch from here to eternity to be just like that.

Low: 1/9/12. I was so miserable by the end that the bartender at Dave & Buster's in Chicago was giving me free drinks.

If we are going to pin 2019 to a moment, probably when CEH catches the TD to make it 33-13 against Bama right before half.

That was sheer jubilation, rest of the game was hanging on, and rest of the season it was more of a relief that the perfect season was continuing than pure joy.

Low might have been getting boat raced by Auburn in 2014, I thought LSUs best days were over.

Or maybe 2015 Bama when surefire Heisman winner LF ran into a brick wall all night.

Low is a no brainer: Sitting in the Dome watching that debacle unfold on 1/9/12!

High: You never forget your first! Watching our first Natty in 44 years in the Dome on 1/4/04!
