The mad hatter had some great trick plays. You don't see this much anymore from anybody. You didn't see a whole lot of it then either, which is why he got called the mad hatter. It was awesome when it worked.

Les really loved to stick it to Auburn 
You could probably include JJ’s jump pass vs UF in 2011
I forgot about this one. It was a great play design, but probably only works if you’re in the wide spread punt formation. I wish we could have used it in a SEC game and not leading by 5 TD’s

Should add the Early pass to Flynn at Bama in 07
Also was the Copeland rumble down the sideline against Bama in 2014 some sort of fake?? Maybe just a 4th down conversion? I can’t remember exactly but it was badass

This is the best onside I’ve ever seen.
Lafell caught it in stride and picked up another 10 yards or so
Unfortunately it led to the clock spike disaster which turned a sizable portion of the fans against Miles for good.
Had that amazing onside kick not been successful it’s a kneel down loss that no one really feels too bad about given the way that season had gone to that point.

I picture Les as a kid, lying in the grass, at high-noon, with a magnifying glass in hand, and a watch on the ground, and using the sunlight to melt the clock (the way other kids did snails). This would foreshadow what was to come. I think he really enjoyed torturing clocks.
