The whole characterization of Louisiana being a “Confederacy of Dunces” and full of “Rogue” actors is such a lazy played out take by the National media.
Irks me just as much as every pre game talking about the “Bayou” and the “Swamp” like we all live along the water amongst cypress knees and shoot gators for food every few days.
Landry just secured a $100 BILLION investment to this “back woods rogue state” for a hub for the future of man kind.
Clay Travis and the rest can eat a bag of unseasoned bland dicks.

My father-in-law has said a bunch of similar shite (he played at Ole Miss) and I agree it pisses me off but I've just stopped caring because it shows their ignorance more than anything else.

You can say that about pretty much any elite program. Why do we have to pretend anyone in major college athletics is running things on the up and up?
Also we aren’t doing anything inappropriate, just due diligence, letting them fight it out in court, and then going off that decision. We aren’t trying to sneak anything by or doing something blatantly illegal.
Again, OM getting a Heisman contending qb eligible for having fricking tonsillitis after the NCAA declared him ineligible is way more egregious than this. Be consistent in how you follow court orders SEC and we may not have a problem.
