If Kiffin was at Alabama Finebaum would be treating him like the second coming of Nick Saban. I’ll never understand why people look at him for any information about sports. He’s a little worm who has never played meaningful sports in his life.

Clay Travis spearheaded a movement accusing Greg Schiano of being involved with covering up the Sandusky rapes at Penn State. This was of course a total lie made up so Schiano wouldn’t get the Tennessee head coaching job and it worked. They ended up with Jeremy Pruitt instead. Some kind of right wing, anti cancel culture free speech warrior we got over here.

Right I’m not going to pretend we’re clean but it’s such bullshite to try and pretend we’re any worse.
Then people want to point to will Wade coming back as why were so dirty, but no one mentions Bill Self getting off scott free and winning the NC the next season for the same shite, it wasn’t even a foot note. LSU was the only school that did much of anything with that probe, and our reward for complying ? Terrible coach, team, and record. So frick off with this crap

Where is Travis wrong in regards to LSU? We only bitched about Saban and Paul Jr and Chargers and Sweetheart rental agreements when secretly we kept asking ourselves how they got away with it.

Dear Judge Sabella, My name is Nick Saban, and I have spent decades as a football coach working with young men from diverse and often difficult backgrounds. In that time, I have had the privilege of watching hundreds of athletes grow not just as a players, but as men. I write this letter because of the exceptional character I witnessed in Terrion Arnold over the more than six years I have known him. I first met Terrion when he joined my program in 2021. From the beginning, he stood out — not only because of his athletic ability, but because of who he was off the field. Based on my experience with Terrion, I’ve always believed he leads with genuine care for the people around him. Over the years, I have welcomed Terrion into my home and around my family. He has consistently treated my family and my staff with respect, humility and kindness. In all the time I have known him, he never once gave me cause to question his conduct, his integrity, or his respect for others. I don’t ever recall him being involved in any behavior that would be described as aggressive or irresponsible. Based on my experiences with Terrion, I remain committed to supporting him. While I’m not overly familiar with or educated on the charges he is facing, and understand the seriousness of his situation before the court, I would respectfully ask the Court to take into account my experience with Terrion, his character, history and the positive impact he had on our program.

Lmao
Nick Saban is as big a scumbag as anyone in college sports. This veneration of him as a man since he’s retired is hilarious. frick Nick Saban.
Just look at the recent articles on Kiffin, who appeared to basically be a spiraling, raging alcoholic. Saban didn’t care. He only cared about the points scored against Washington.

He’s a big Vols fan who lives in Nashville.

Yep. He is probably promoting the mustard and golf balls idea too.

Clay Travis has been on top of that list for a looong time.

What exactly did he say that you disagree with?
The characterization of LSU being some isolated rogue actor while every other university operates on some sort of moral high ground and would never cheat or allow themselves to be a beneficiary of a "hometown "court ruling.
LSU and Kiffin aren't doing anything that hasn't been done dozens of times over in the last 5-6 years. Ther are waiting to see if a court ruling will allow otherwise "ineligible" players to play for their team. This isn't a novel concept.
At worst, LSU has two HCs (Kiffin and Wade) who looked at the current landscape of college sports and said essentially there are little to no firm guardrails on eligibility that numerous other programs have taken advantage of, so let's do the same thing
EDT: Here's the great part! The only group the coaches are beholden to is their fanbase. Why should Kiffin or Wade get even the slightest of shits whether or not a Tennessee fan, Ole Miss fan, Georgia politician, of some opportunistic journalist like him or their programs? NONE of those people care if LSU wins games. In fact, most would prefer they don't. So why try to appease them. That would be like trying to be friends with the guy who is hitting on your wife and trying to get her to leave you rather than just kicking his arse. Why would you want to be buddies with someone whose interest are TOTALLY adverse to you. F-him!

Yes, and he is still butthurt over the 2001 SEC Championship Game. Brought it up on Mascona's show.

Not just because of this but Clay and his husband Buck are completely unlistenable on the radio. To put those two arse clowns to take the slot of Rush is insulting.

That's rich coming from a Tide fan, I'm sure all their recruits were choir boys and def not paid when they shouldn't have been...frick all these Holier Than Thou people. If Bama truly played by the rules they'd be a shite program like the other 99% of the nation.

He switches his stances every other week. He’s a classic case of trying to stay relevant.
