Oh that's great news!

Physical shooting guard that plays tough defense...check.

I got my 2 wishes...Miller and KJ.

How? We are actually gonna be a contender in the SEC this year. This is beyond insane.

It could take years.

NCAA handed 5 L1 violations 2 years ago to Kansas and they just won it all.

Arizona has some L5s in hand and they made it deep into the tourney, too.

The only negative there is McMahon might not want to have two true freshman (on an otherwise experienced team) in the starting 5.

If that is the case, scratch Reed and insert Wilkinson at the 3. Ward plays the 4 and Williams the 5. Wilkinson would be the most power conf. experienced guy of the group and it is entirely possible he has more to his offensive game than he was really allowed to show under Wade. Plus, we know balance is the key to success and LSU will need to defend. Wilkinson can do that.

May also want to consider Ward at the 3 and Fountain at a stretch 4.

No one truly know what style they will play. What McMahon's approach to SEC basketball will be. But this roster appears to at least give him enough options to compete.

IMO, at this time, Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn and Tennessee are at the top of the league. Alabama and A&M MIGHT be good. It also may be their success in past years (Alabama in 2021; A&M down the stretch last season) was a bit of an anomaly. Then, of the schools that all changed coaches (LSU, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Miss. St, Missouri) LSU and Florida have done the best jobs revamping their rosters. I think the roster puts LSU at least in the conversation for teams 5-7 in the SEC. 6 weeks ago no one would have thought that could have been possible.

Days was a true Tiger and hustled his butt off, but he was an offensive liability.

Pinson had a few good games, but I like having the other guards instead of him, I hope.

Mwani needs a breakout year, if he's at all capable of such a thing.

Has a chance to be, they will definitely be a better offensive team that is for sure.

Matt has officially earned all my support and respect. Earning the respect of a guy like Miller who was so closely attached to the previous staff and convincing him to stay is super impressive.

He has done a terrific job so far. I look forward to watching them this fall.

The basketball programs will have the PMAC filled up this coming year

McMahon might be the first coach to win SEC Coach of the Year about 6 months before the season even starts.

Coach might mess around and make the tourney year one. Gonna be fun either way. Hard not to be optimistic.
