1. 1996 - Warren Morris walkoff HR against Miami to win CWS(obviously)
2. 2023 - Tommy White walkoff HR against Wake to send LSU to finals
3. 2000 - Brad Cresse walkoff single against Stanford to win CWS
4. 2009 - DJ Lemahieu 2 run double w 2 outs in the 9th to send game 1 of finals to extras
5. 1993 - Todd Walker walkoff single against LBSU

Thoughts?

There would be no HR without Morgan’s play.

Why would a homer in a tie game to make the championship be bigger than a base hit in a tie game to win the championship

Right NOW, I'd rank Tanks' HR #5 on that list. BUT, it can crawl back to #2 if LSU wins the NC.

This is only in the discussion if it leads to a championship

I agree. I think these plays this year mean nothing unless we win the natty. Nobody remembers the runner-up. So LFG!!

I’ll always remember. But hey I forgot more plays since watching and listening to games from 1980 on.

The homer doesn’t matter if Tre doesn’t come through here

We don't need a ranking, just a list.

we have 6 championships so it would probably be hard to argue against some play from them until we win #7.

then we can sort out where things rank in history.

Never happens without that once in a lifetime catch in the outfield by Ray Wright in the 3rd.

I hope so, but that will be the case only if it leads to the championship.

The Armando Rios double just before Todd's AB was even bigger IMHO.
