0This was the one where LSU fans could really think, why not #1?
After giving up a devastating 90+ yard screen pass for a tying TD, LSU came back and won.Day game or not Tiger Stadium was on fire.

Definitely the best day game atmosphere in LSU history. The crowd was jacked up and loud from pregame all the way until after the game. I remember Mark Richt saying that when Georgia scored on that 90-yard screen or whatever late in the game to take the lead, he said he thought that would quiet the crowd. Then he said the crowd began chanting "LSU...LSU...LSU" and he said it was the loudest he had ever heard any stadium get. Great crowd that day.

Inside and outside the stadium. There was a buzz the entire weekend. Tailgating was loud.

on 9/20/23 at 10:17 pm to I-59 TigerWhen I was a kid, my dad took me to my 1st LSU game versus FSU in the oranges on the field game (I was immediately hooked). This Georgia game I was able to return the favor and brought my dad to it. I was fortunate they were two of the more iconic games in Tiger history.
