Don't get me wrong. Josh is a good young man and an ok back. But I've been expecting 29 to get 80+% of the carries by now so he could get in a rhythm with 20-25 carries, cause it's a numbers game for him to break several runs...even with the sucky interior run-blocking OL.

The excuses they are using is that 29 is not as good at recognizing the Blitz pickups.

Maybe DJ Chester can work with him on picking up the blitz.

Williams is a much better at pass protection. Not even close.

You have to have a RB who can serve as an extra blocker.

Zeke is one of the best at this and it’s why he’s had such a long career.

Please show us the video breakdowns of this.

This just keeps getting repeated but nobody has actually shown any work

How about you show us where Williams missed blocks leading to sacks.

If it keeps getting repeated then maybe you’re just wrong and aren’t seeing it. It’s a thing. We don’t have to make video breakdowns to prove our points

Keep hearing this on this board, but Williams PFF grades are very poor almost every single game.

This just isn’t true. Williams has low pass blocking grades and has literally whiffed several times on pass blocking.

I could point out a play in the 2nd H when he returned that he lined up on the wrong side of Nuss and had to be told to switch, but the truth is it doesn't matter enough in the whole scheme of things.

If that's the reason Williams is in there and you're playing both backs, your offense is too predictable and you might as well shove the football up your arse.

There's way too many flaws on this team to put this much film up and not have it bury you eventually.

Which is crazy because it's not like having him in gave any boost to out passing game anyway. Might as well have a running game. There's no excuse (besides injury) for Durham and Anderson to get less than 10 touches.

The reason is that they trust 18 and not 29 in pass protection. Whether that is the correct decision is debatable. Has Kaleb Jackson completely disappeared?
