And all that good fun was negated a few weeks later when we let Arkansas get a piggrass miracle and keep us out of the SECCG.

Edit: I am following up to self-shame for not going with SOOO-grass Miracle.

I can't believe how shitty tv pictures used to be even in 2002.

I was at the hunting camp watching that game on a tiny 9-inch black and white tv with my dad. I'll never forget that memory.

That was a Saban coached team. People today would be pissed off that it took a miracle to beat a team known for basketball

I was there. The most dramatic and abrupt reversal of fortune I've ever experienced. From shamed misery amongst the chanting hillbillies to vengeful triumph in an instant of bobbles and deflections and Devery's long strides. Great moment.

And then in the locer room, Saban kicked Jordy Hultberg out to deliver his post game speech about BAMA.

I like the Kentucky announcer version. "They're tearing down the goal posts. I don't know why."

My family was never into watching sports, and the season of the Bluegrass Miracle is the first football season I remember watching and following from start to finish after neighbor friends got me into it.

According to that article we played at Kentucky 2 years in a row. So I looked, we did. Anyone remember why that was? I don't remember.

I was there. The year before too when we had another last minute win. Rohan threw a TD I believe to Michael Clayton with 17 seconds left. I remember getting back to our hotel after Blue grass miracle and some UK fan taunting us. He had left game before final play and hadn’t even heard they lost.
