15-0 and 10-3 are not the same.

A lot of times numbers that get retired also have to do with the seasons that were had by the whole team and not just individual.
I could have given a fuk if Joe was black during that 2019 season.
If that Number 9 wasn’t given out it was probably not only out of respect to Joe but for the season that #9 represented.

This is right. Burrow went 10-3… before he went 15-0. 19–7 with zero titles and 25-3 with a national title and SEC title are 2 totally different college careers.
