Ole Miss is very good, especially creating massive mismatches and out leveraging teams in the running game. D-Line and LB’ers will need to be on point this game and safeties will need to fill running lanes and tackle.

God I hope we can establish SOME kind of running game.

If we can decently run the ball we will be fine. I think defense plays lights out

Considering Ole Miss isn’t good, we know their second string is going to start right? Easy he can’t throw … he just runs and weeks will take care of that. Gosh yall have some faith

Since he arrived in 2020 ole miss has failed to score at least 20 points at home only once: last year vs Kentucky when they scored 17.

This defense has given up so far in 4 games. 10 points! I just don’t see Ole Miss putting up 20+ points. I think the defense will set the tone and if they can get turnovers and create a short field I see LSU willing by multiple scores.

You're underrating Ole Miss and Kiffin's ability as a play caller.

No we r not. We know our defense is lights out. Nuss is going to light this team up. Your under estimating our team.

Two things can be true. On one hand we do have a great defense and on the other hand their is an excellent offensive play caller who is going to get his. The game favors offense. They are going to move the ball and put up points. Expecting the team to hold Ole Miss to 10 points is unrealistic.

The magic number should be 20 points. That would be a good defensive game against them and giving our offense the opportunity to win. You cannot depend on the defense to play nearly perfect every single game.

I think people are VASTLY overrating their offense. I've seen them this year and they are playing bad defenses every week. I mean bad.

Georgia St gave up 38 to Memphis, 21 to FCS Murray St and 70 to Vandy

Kentucky gave up 16 to Toledo and 23 to Eastern Michigan (Ole Miss only scored 30)

Arkansas gave up 32 in a loss to Memphis and while it seems like it's okay to give up 14 to Arkansas St, Arkansas St scored 16 vs Iowa St and 21 vs Kennesaw St. That's just a bad offense.

Tulane gave up 27 to Duke and 31 to South Alabama.

In truth LSU will lock down their run game, Perk will spy Chambliss, and they will force him to beat them through the air.

A Kiffenn team will play wide open and make plays. Our offense definitely needs to try controlling the momentum of the game but our O line doesn’t appear capable of this. If OM gets careless and yields some turnovers a 35-21 LSU victory is possible but this game is probably going to be much closer. I think something like 31-27 and hope LSU comes out on top though the boys in Vegas think OM will be victorious

I think we will need 31 to win. Especially if we go 3 and out a few times.

Perkins has finally settled into a position where he's comfortable. He's gonna light this kid up.

I have said it a few times.
I think Ole Miss will put together 2 sustained scoring drives. if LSU gives them a short field via turnover, they will get a 3rd.

I see LSU winning a 28-14 maybe 28-14 type game, but I think LSU physically dominates, especially the Defense.
They will score, but I don't see multiple drives of 75+ yards.

LSU has also not played a good offense yet this year. Clemson and Florida both have been extremely underwhelming on offense this year. I think LSU’s defense is great but do we really know how good they are? They haven’t been tested by a good offense yet this year.
