But, if you're comparing resumes

Sometimes you need to look beyond that. Saban, Miles, Bertman, Dale Brown? Go look at their resumes before they came to LSU.

Ok, but the only thing said opposing the Jimbo hire was his record in ACC last year.

Arguably most talent in the SEC and best QB in the SEC, 10-2 should be the floor.

Sorry, I’m not a delusional person. I can’t sypport an unqualified coach just because what shirt he’s wearing.

Wanna go back to the year before when Orgeron's LSU team beat the Heisman Trophy winner in a bowl game while that same player whipped Jimbo's FSU team by 6 touchdowns?

But our schedule was horrendous

So was our depth and it's not a coincidence that as soon as our depth was decent that we went on a run. ND sucked but so did our kickers. With a decent kicker we win the Troy game and ND game.

You can do that. Wanna go back to Orgeron's 10 overall wins in 3 seasons and Jimbo's national championship and 3 first round quarterbacks, one of which was actually the Heisman winner?

.LSU fans would rather we were the program that paid $75 million to the guy who went 3-5 in the ACC last year.

If LSU had hired him when they should have, he wouldn't have been in the ACC last year so that's a moot point.

Saban, Miles, Bertman, Dale Brown? Go look at their resumes before they came to LSU.

Saban - 48-26-1 (30-16-1). MSU finished 1999 ranked #9.

Miles - 28-21 (16-16). Not stellar. Major selling point was that in 4 years he was the only HC in the country to beat OU twice.

Bertman - First college head coaching job, was an assistant HC at Miami when they won the NC in 1982.

Brown - First college head coaching job. Like Bertman, the program he took over wasn't nearly of the profile that LSU football is now, or even when Saban took over.

Orgeron - His resume has been posted and dissected ad nauseam. Simply put, it does not compare favorably to any of the men you mentioned.

Blaming the players. It shouldn't come down to kickers against troy. Notre dame was an abortion. coaches deserve the blame.

Who evaluated the kicking situation before the season started and deciding we didn't need a special teams coach?

I'd have never fathomed some of the fanbase could ever want O over a national title winning coach who has developed very good qb's. Unreal

Who didn't offer the #1 kicker in the country, from the same school where his son played?

Honestly, I don't have a problem with people having their opinions. I'm fact, I welcome it. I'm just failing to understand comparing the one year outliers of their coaching careers to make the point.

10-2 should be the floor every year for our coach

FIFY
We should have a floor of 10 wins every year and then if he has a down year and wins less then he has to rebound and win big next year. That's the standard.
