Nuss in the off season on running … it couldn’t hurt

I like Nuss, but he needs to go ahead and move onto the NFL next year. It's time to see what all this new talent BK is getting can do

Nuss doesn’t run because he avoids contact. It explains why he throws it up for grabs when he feels the pocket collapsing.

I've said it a number of times, Nuss has limped since some point in the opener. I don't think he's quite right, and hasn't been all year.

Even that 10 yd run when he finally took off, that seemed a bit lumbering. He used to not look that way when he did run in the past.

I don't think you'll hear about it during the season (no reason to put a target on him), but I bet we do after the year.

The reason (ie “why”) he is not running does not matter (thus “moot”). He just needs to be allowed to run or told to run.

If he doesn’t run, the defense is allowed to cheat on both the run game and the passing game. It would be insane to let them have such an advantage.

Am I the only one that notices any time Nuss gets touched near his legs he comes up limping? I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not fully healthy from that injury scare at South Carolina.

He did run for a much needed first down on 3rd and long. We have to believe that the coaches have instructed him to not run unless he has open field ahead of him and we need a first down.
If we lose him, we have no offense at all, so we better applaud what we have because when he is given protection and not forced to throw on the run to save the oline from getting a sack number, and the receivers catch the ball like they should, Nuss is a darn good drop back passing QB. He is what he is, and we need to be thankful we have him because he could easily be playing somewhere else and then we would have NOTHING.

He's a sissy,,,does not like to get hit,,,,he just wants to throw it 900 times,,, Sloan is no better either,,Fd up play calling,,,like 10 plays in his playbook,,,8-4,,,

Considering he was playing on a bum ankle after Will Campbell accidentally stepped on it on a play Nuss wasn’t going to be running.

LSU really is dead in the water if Nuss goes down because of injury due to absolutely zero experience

Kind of like A&M was?

I genuinely think it just does not cross his mind yet. It's similar to the reason why he throws ill-advised passes rather than throw it away. I think he just always believes that he can make a big play with his arm, and he at times gets overly confident in that thought that he never even looks at his other options such as throwing away or running.

He has much to learn. It’s frustrating that he will not run when there is plenty of open real estate available.

Thank you. Nuss clearly has some type of ankle/foot injury that hasn't been released in the media. He's been limping badly for weeks now....and people keep asking why he doesn't run more.

He's protecting his millions of pro cash although the joke will be on him if he is not drafted.

Pretty sure Brian Kelly has stated in Press conferences that when Garrett sees open field he needs to take it.

He's already capable and can run pretty well he is just choosing not to,

Why? Simple answer is you don’t have an experienced backup. You cannot afford him to get hurt running,

I think he has an injury personally. He seems to get up limping anytime he takes a big hit and seems to favor one of his hamstrings quite a bit.

I'd bet a lot of $ that coaches have told him not to run unless there is an open field in front of him and they need a first down badly.
