That was not aimed at LSU fans. He was proud to hold Talen Green to his worst performance of the year. Arkansas's offensive score was the 2nd worst this year (Notre Dame was #1).
LSU has now held Bama and Arkansas to their 2nd worst offensive games this season. People really don't believe LSU has a shot vs Oklahoma???
Getting MVB these 2 starts will be CRUCIAL to playing good enough offensively at Oklahoma and it seems like they have tweaked something on defense since Kelly's firing.

Stifled an offense that’s scored points on everyone on their schedule, and without his best player. And if not for a Nuss brain fart at the end of the half last week, mostly shut down the Gumps, moreso than Oklahoma did today.
I’d be pretty puffed up too. To blame this shipwreck of a season on he and the defense is just wrong.

Defense had a good game….Goal line stance=awesome, 2 picks=awesome, recovered fumble=good/that was an Ark mistake and nothing defense did.
But don’t act like you just shut down Lamar…..Petrino is an arrogant DA that tries to outsmart everyone instead of sticking with what works. Had he run Green 10 more times, it may be a different outcome…..but if my Aunt had Balls….

Overall the defense played well. Green still had 70 yards on 4.1 ypc.
