Are we really better off at this point?

2025 score was 24-19 Ole Miss. Leavitt doesn’t seem to be an upgrade over Nuss. Defense looks about the same- pretty good but cannot stop a dynamic running QB. WRs are always pretty good. I think the only real difference between last year and this year is that we have a running game.

We’re definitely better than last year. Chambliss is way better now than he was when we played them last year.
We got outgained 480-240 last year. Some very fluky turnovers kept it close. This year was 420-330.
We also played Clemson and La tech way closer last year whereas we blew them out this year.
But we were fricking awful last year so just being better than last year still might only mean a competitive 8-4.

We would have lost 50-0 last night with Nuss. He literally never moved in the pocket or ran and also missed wide open guys just as often.
