Do you have a pga tour superstore near you? It’s $300 for unlimited simulator use for the year? Damn good deal, also has discounts on other services and lessons

How does the course compare to Timber Creek? They have an unlimited golf membership for like $4000 for the year or something like that

Golfcrest in Pearland

Has anyone ever played Golfcrest or been to the club there? They had the Aramco Houston Championship there this year for the European Ladies Tour. I am wondering what the course and clubhouse are like. Stock membership is $20k initiation, $7.5k for initiation for full golf (no stock), and ~$600/mo for golf and cart fee. Seems pretty reasonable for Houston if the facilities are nice.
Not a fan of his but still love that he’s back. Golf is better when it has characters. Would love to see Bryson and Patrick reed back

I think we want kiffin to be in love with lsu after just one month on the job. In reality, he has coached for 10+ schools so he probably will only feel that way about us if he wins a NC. I feel the same way about him too. If he doesn’t win, he will just be another Brian Kelly.
They will probably have the course closed between the two tournaments, especially if it rains before the men’s tournament and it gets tore up by fans.

Must have groceries from New Orleans

Posted by ToucanBill on 12/13/25 at 6:41 am
Are there any groceries, shelf stable or frozen, that you like to bring home after a trip to NOLA? Things like central grocery muffuletta salad or hubigs pies
Ya, we need to learn to run block before any RBs want to come to lsu
BW can get anything you want. I had them make a pork crown roast last year and it was awesome

Friendswood is the clear winner in my opinion. Great schools, big houses, close to shopping and restaurants, close to the water, close to Hobby airport.

This miles to Michigan scenario doesn’t make sense to me. If the contract is signed then how could he change his mind?
Purstners in Vienna is great, get the cheese spaetzle and pork knuckle

Pastalaya Question

Posted by ToucanBill on 8/26/25 at 5:22 pm
Do you think Pastalaya would be good if I subbed the noodles for either cheese tortellini or pork dumplings?
Excited about this. I played here on Saturday and the course could use some work.
Tilson homes in Texas will do that. No payments are made until the house is complete.

Smart Home Gym

Posted by ToucanBill on 7/27/25 at 9:29 pm
Has anybody tried the Tonal or Speediance smart home gyms? Threads on Reddit make them sound like game changers for people who don’t have space for an actual home gym and don’t have time to get to a gym. Both are very expensive.
That sounds good, post a picture of how the elotes turned out. I made their pork crown roast last year and it was awesome.
Ya I kinda like a lot of the new tech, but agree that trucks are way too expensive because of it. It’s getting ridiculous really

I’m here now actually but not doing the wine tour. We did the Guide Along app driving tour of the Oregon Coast and it was fantastic. As a matter of fact, we did the Guide Along driving tour of Kauai also and it also was fantastic. Those are some great ideas you have!
Well it doesn’t really matter where the money comes, it’s still a draw to their program. It’s going to be difficult to compete with teams who can buy whoever they want.
Until those tech companies relocate to Texas

Also called a Zabuton steak, they used to serve this at Georgia James

re: Hawaii - Suggestions

Posted by ToucanBill on 2/21/25 at 2:18 pm to
Maui’s road to Hana is very cool. If you go, you should not worry about making the whole trip but should stop on the way to visit the many waterfalls and pools

Kauai is my favorite, specifically I would recommend staying near poipu beach. Book a charter to Napoli Coast and take the Gypsy Guide driving tour of the island.
OKC has a river walk also but it goes through a bass pro parking lot

re: Prime Target on Apple.

I’m noticing a trend amongst Apple TV shows. They’re as bad as Disney when it comes to pushing this agenda. I mean Severance, Ted Lasso, Shrinking, The Morning Show, and now Prime Target all have gay main characters. Some started off as not gay then became gay. It’s definitely one of Apples initiatives.
