Completely agree. He may have got in but there certainly didn’t seem to be conclusive video evidence
LSU’s 14 point lead has evaporated, but they are loaded with talent. Also have something exciting to play for with Lane on the way. No reason to think they can’t pull it out against Houston if they play their A game.

C’mon baw. You know the rules

May have been a TD but didn’t see anything on video to support it
I like that the game isnt at home for them. Should even things out a bit. Also warmer.

Watch the 4th qtr when #71 is playing left guard. This cat is pathetic at best.

You don’t have to tell me! I was complaining about it in another thread. There was one play where Hill got the ball and everything opened up wonderfully.
71 had a 1:1 block with an LB and it would have gone for 10+, but he wiffed and Hill was tackled for a short gain.

Not sure if it was 71, but even on Hill’s touchdown run, someone came through and hit him at the line. Thankfully, he kept moving.

Coaching vs players is a circular argument. Players have to make plays, but coaches are responsible for getting the right players in the right position
I think so because we do have enough run attempts even if they’re not productive.

It may freeze the LBs for a split second. Downside is can we protect Ty long enough…
I’d like to see more play action. We run enough for that to work, and running doesn’t work, so why not.

Couldn’t agree more. They “play to a standard.” Fun to watch if you’re not on the receiving end.

It’s “Serg.” You’re saying “Surge.” Sounds like a detergent…

I choose to believe it was a takeaway game, Kim.

Agree. Exactly like the first game. Bama gave that game away with uncharacteristic turnovers and missed field goals.

OU believed they created those opportunities.

Same idea in this game
My thought as well. Dude went skiing before the game.
And a lot of sexy, can’t miss hires are busts. Happens all the time.

I didn’t love Cristobal at Alabama either
Exactly. If Indy goes up by 17, it’s over. ;)

WTF is a "lap?"

I was responding to another post, but presumably a run around the field.

Exactly my point.
Its sad. Not entertaining for fans and Oregon players are doing nothing but risking injury. I would much rather see them play Texas or Vandy.

What “everybody wanted” was the best 12 teams in a playoff. This ain’t that

Yep. On the phone with an old friend, I hadn’t talked to in a while. Had the volume turned down to watch while we caught up.

I wouldn’t let that dude off the phone, and when I finally had to, kept the volume down!

Every one he doesn’t try to catch with his hands is a lap.

Serious question: how does the lap achieve the goal?

My thought would be to practice the skill you want to improve

I see this all the time in sports, and we certainly used to do it, but I’ve always thought it was a counterproductive. Seems like it would make more sense to tack on five minutes to the catching drill.

It’s like making offensive lineman run 100yd sprints for conditioning. Do the conditioning with sled work.

One man’s opinion

Agreed. It’s like they aren’t driving the standard - do your job on every single play regardless of the scoreboard.

71 missed so many second level blocks that would have gone for good yardage.
Instead it was a 2 to 3 yard gain. Even one of the TD runs was a wiffed block against #44 but thankfully Hill powered through.

IU is a hell of a team. Physical and well coached. One of the few hard nosed teams in CFB.

OU was the same way and Bama found a way to beat them, but IU has a better offense.

Bama should have better talent overall on the roster, but so did tOSU.

At least the game is at a neutral site and Bama has beaten more good teams this year than anyone else.

One score game seems right. Hopefully Bama won’t spot them 17.
Uh, he got trolled homie.

Rose to the bait and took it hook, line, and sinker.

Maybe Kiff can teach the governor how it works.
