Just because you have money doesn’t mean that you are going to get every person that you want. LSU had a steep hill to climb for Sorsby. TT would match any money that LSU would give him but TT had one thing that LSU couldn’t match. His girlfriend goes to TT. He can hit that as much as he wants to instead of every now and then

Because no one here is able to answer that question. We don’t know exactly how much money they have to work with, how much money is already allocated to current players, how much they have budgeted to address multiple players at multiple positions, who is a realistic target, and who is gaming the system.

Just because you have damn near unlimited funds doesn't mean you go around throwing crazy numbers out for players. You can pay over a set amount for certain players but you dont drop $5.5+ million on a QB that wasn't in the Heisman race.

Lane, his GM and his staff are working on everything, leaving no stone unturned. They have a plan. They have an idea how they will distribute the bucks. They know a helluva lot more than you or any jackleg on this forum.
