The users on here saying LSU should never get 2 small college guys again in baseball are in shambles with the 2 they just picked up

Dumb thing to say too, because both these guys are highly projected MLB prospects. The pitcher has immense big time potential.

Yep, Daniel Dickinson says hi. We just need guys who also know how to field properly. Jay overlooked that this past season and won't make that mistake again. LSU is probably in the tournament if they field properly.

I was literally just responding to a person on FB melting over another small college guy and I used Dickinson as a good example of how it can translate and work.

It's also disingenuous to consider the Sunbelt "small school" at this point.

It's a better conference than the Big 10.

He was the final out of a 3 game weekend sweep, threw his bat emotionally in frustration, a teammate got in his face about it and they had a shoving match

After talking about with coaches he said he wasnt coming back next year so he was "no longer on the team"

That's a legit positive IMO. Might need some coaching on controlling his emotions, but sounds like a kid who hates losing.

Why would a teammate get in his face about tossing a bat in an emotional loss? I guess he would tell him to kick rocks. No player competitively should realistically be doing that. I get it, control your emotions better, sure but a teammate getting in his face for that? C'mon. Sounds more like a coach should be doing that not a player.

Yeah, I found that odd as well. Usually you just stay out of their way until they cool off.
