We knew that was happening

This was pretty much already known

Gotta lot of respect for a guy who wants to stay home and play for the home team.
Sad to see him go but I get it.

I thought that had already happened. When I saw him still listed as a commit yesterday I was shocked.

Sellers probably didn’t see this coming but everyone else did

Eh, can't blame him. He's from Columbia, South Carolina.

Hope he didn’t just inform the coaches. Can’t respect that

Initial reaction is frustrated that yet again a “commitment” doesn’t mean much
Then I think of all the 3 star in state kids LSU has reached out to late or even on signing day and convinced to stay home
Can’t have it both ways I guess

With Green, Pimpton, LaFleur and company, we'll be alright.

With LaFluer, Pimp and Green and the possibility however slim that Taylor stays another year we good there. Use Bordelon as short yardage and goaline TE

Need an in-line TE in the portal

As long as I never see them use Green to set the edge on running plays again.

Why do guys like Tyler stay listed as commits?

lot of respect for a guy
But I am not worried about losing a 3*** tight end.

We need a transfer more experienced guy to help with blocking anyway

He didn’t. He just didn’t feel the need to broadcast it publicly. This has been an open secret for weeks. The coaches knew he wasn’t coming.

Might’ve been a really hard decision? Family/community pressure? Realized how far from home he was gonna be?
I don’t know. Whatever the answer is, I’m not mad about it. If you are, that’s fine too.

I imagine he told the coaches a while back but stayed "committed" for a signing day "flip." All a guess, though.
