Vol

I’ll try to help out here by explaining what you’re saying but not saying. Tell me if I’m wrong.

Coaches aren’t feeling to good about rolling with Brennan. Whether that’s due to talent, leadership, or whether he’ll play or not due to COVID... or some combination... the fact is *they would jump at the opportunity to get Fields.*

Oh and by the way they’ve probably considered the whole route tree issue . So the fact that they would still jump at the chance to get Fields tells you all you need to know.

Brennan just doesn’t seem to have *it* and it baffles me. If any of us had to sit and watch as a backup for 3 years we’d be ripping our shirt off and crushing Red Bull’s over the chance to finally lead this team.

We’re sending teenagers to scan our groceries for minimum wage all day every day for hours but poor wiwwl Brennan is nervous about playing football? GTFO and next man up. Especially if it’s Fields.

The more I think about it the more it pisses me off.

You want to lead this team? Then put the team on your back. You have a chance to solidify Chase as one of the best WRs this league has ever seen, but nah.

And forget about Ja’Marr for a second, he’ll be a first round pick anyway. Think of those seniors who aren’t looking at being drafted right now. Those guys who have one last year to show out and get their CHANCE at getting into the league for this sport they’ve spent most of their lives working toward. Think of those guys who didn’t come from the same background as you where even a year minimum deal with the Lions could be life changing for them and their family. THAT is your team, dipshit, and you need to be doing all you can for your TEAM.

But after an entire offseason of the LSU media department babying you and hyping you up. adversity strikes and you’d rather go hunt ducks. Must be nice.

So yeah, pretty obvious why Coach O would jump at the chance for Fields or frankly anyone with a kick of leadership.

You really think Ja’marr Chase needs to catch a couple balls from Brennan to solidify himself as one of the best receivers in SEC history?

He would have been the first receiver taken in the 2020 draft as a true sophomore.

You’re a clown.

First of all, there is zero percent chance is coming to LSU. But if he did, this is what I would worry about too. It would be the 5th straight year we’d have started a transfer at QB (Etling-2, Joe-2, Fields-1). At some point, all this young QBs who’ve committed to us out of high school are gonna wonder why bother if we’re just gonna go out a pond try to grab a transfer every year. It would be terribly short-sighted.

Did you miss my point on purpose?

It’s about Brennan’s mindset. The fact that his team is screaming to go out and play and he’d rather hunt deer instead of run out onto that field to lead the team he’s watched from the bench for 3 years is embarrassing.

Joe Burrow has shown more leadership for these guys and he’s not even at LSU anymore. Brennan isn’t some baby to be coddled anymore. He’s had years to watch and learn and apparently didn’t learn the right things.

Anyway - my point is there’s a reason Vol said we’d jump at the chance for Fields and I think I just spelled out why that is.

He can tell me if I’m on the right track or not but we all know I am.

Kayvon Thibodeaux should be required to transfer to LSU with a last name like that. Would fill a huge need as well

I’m more interested in this guy than Fields. Unless Myles opts out of course. Lot easier to play de and rush the passer than learn an entire offense in a month....

Happens several times a year. Pouts like a 3 year old, throws a fit and tells the board how he will just stop bringing his inside info here, but always shows back up.

The norm in CFB now. Get used to it. Half of the QBs we have committed will end up transferring.

I would imagine that type of stuff is still being discussed at the top levels of the NCAA. I don’t get fed information from anyone that high up the chain. But *just my opinion* it’s got to be soon right? If player safety is truly a priority we need time for these kids to relocate and also quarantine for 14 days if needed. So then you have to have time to get acclimated to your new program and get into game shape. So, in my opinion it’s got to be soon. Which is scary to me because the NCAA regularly botches decisions that they have the luxury of sitting on. I have no faith they’ll do the right thing in this instance. But I do know for a fact it is being discussed.

Whether they believe you have inside info or not, I'll never understand why some LSU posters get so damned pissed off about you.

I think he has a GREAT mindset. He came to LSU to compete for the QB position, He redshirted to get Bigger and stronger, He waited patiently as he sat behind Burrow, He graduated this summer, now it's HIS TURN. Correct me if i'm wrong, but that's damn near a perfect mindset.

Let's see, he learned upon arrival to LSU that he wasn't physically ready to compete in the SEC, He learned PATIENCE while waiting his turn, He learned enough in the classroom to GRADUATE. So, tell me again what YOU THINK he DIDN'T learn.

Unless Myles Brennan has told Coach O that he's opting out, you roll with Myles. He could have left Coach O and LSU in dire straits when Burrow arrived on campus, but yet he CHOSE to SIT, LISTEN, and LEARN from Burrow.
You can't teach that, a person has it in them or they don't. I'm on the Myles train. Fields can take a hike.

I would agree with you, but it’s a problem if Myles has shown ANY hint of not being 100% on board with playing the season, and to me, liking a bunch of tweets that are against playing is at least a hint. I only hope that if Vol’s info is correct, it’s because MB has told O he’s hesitant to play.

They get pissed off because we apparently have a few true psychopaths on this board, whom only think themselves have “inside info” not Vol. It is only explanation as to why people on a message board attack another individual, for only sharing info he has gathered. Unreal, I give you a big thumbs up , Vol .
