Yes, and if Tom Brady comes to LSU, you don't let him also because he only has 1 month to learn the offense.

You are so dumb. A Heisman finalist and you turn him down. You must be a friend of Les Miles. Fields in 3-4 weeks will learn every play in our playbook and run circles over Brennan.

But I'm a realist and it probably won't happen and I'll be keen for Brennan to succeed. But if Fields wants to come here, you take him in a heartbeat. One team one heartbeat

I literally said both parties would jump at the opportunity... I don’t know if Ed has reached out? I just bring the things I know to the board to let y’all piece together. We actually do a pretty good job of filling in the blanks here.

i never said "don't take him"

i said it wasn't logical and probably wasn't a smart move for him. Fields smartest move is to sit out for the draft.

Yes he's a big talent, but 3-4 weeks learning an entirely new system, checks, audibles, line calls, WR tendencies, and just overall environment adjustment is a ridiculous ask. I'm not even 100% sure he'd beat out Myles in that short of a time frame. By all accounts that we have been told, Myles has looked fantastic.

A top 3 draft pick isn’t going to beat a 4th year guy who hasn’t been able to get on the field?

I dont believe this because in the recruiting game it smells. What smells like dogshit usually is dogshit. I want to win just like everyone else but going after Justin Fields and others would be a cancer to the recruiting program that would take forever to heal.

CEO goes into kids homes and builds relationships to get kids and their parents to commit to LSU. That is a two way street. The roster is essentially full and if he goes out and undercuts kids on this roster he will take a credibility hit with the parents, especially the OOS kids.

My other point on this is that these outside looking in players had a chance to come to LSU before and didnt so I am not enthused that they want to come now because we playin and they aint.

I don’t know how the process looks but as the NCAA can you really tell these guys that they can’t play? It’s commonplace for athletes to transfer out after a coach gets fired.... why shouldn’t these guys get the opportunity to audition for the nfl just because the far left academia nuts that run their universities believe the world is ending?

We need a Left Tackle and a Center and a rush DE before we need a qb who was dumbfounded by Clemson last year. Get the best of those positions and let’s F’n geaux!!

So you choose not to read what I posted but then proceed to reply to it. Get smarter. You're doing nothing but spitballing, nothing more, nothing less. It's disingenuous. You're posting your hopes ,not real info, and putting it out like it's inside info.
I've never been one that has criticized your input or "info" on this board and won't start now. However this is the 2nd instance imo where you've shown you are nothing but a want to be glory hound that really has nothing of substance to give anyone.
Do you want to go back to that Burton thread on signing day where you, and only you, said it was a Rueben Randle/DeAngelo Benton situation between he and Jarrett where it was one or the other according to Burton? It was proven false and deleted within minutes. Now this. This isn't inside info, you said yourself there's been no contact, so how do you know " both parties are interested"? You are just throwing shite against the wall hoping to get some "cred" on a recruiting message board, when in reality nothing you've posted in this thread is based on facts nor pertains to recruiting as it stands. It's just wishful thinking.
Sorry to get you all rustled up to where you feel obligated to reply to me yet don't take the time to read it and educate yourself as to why this bullshite you're spouting is not gonna happen. Do better.
Bookmark this and bring it back when things get figured out and we will see who's right. You'll probably just disappear like you did after being outed as an emotional fan, and nothing more, on signing day with that Burton bullshite. I'll eagerly await your response. fricking clown

I know they are only "likes" on a social media platform but if Myles shows any indication he isn't in 100 percent then bring someone else in. No room for weakness or apprehensiveness in a championship program. Full steam ahead.

I don’t know why people refuse to state the obvious. When Joe Burrow is still being a better leader than Brennan on this issue then what else do we need to see?

If Coach O would jump at the opportunity to bring in Fields then it’s not because he forgot about Myles Brennan.
