It seems a lot of the big time players at programs that have shut the door on the 2020 season are working out the process with the NCAA to get their name in the transfer portal. I’m being told this will devastate some of these programs due to the mass exodus. I don’t want to get ahead of myself when I asked if we could possibly bring in another transfer QB from Ohio state I was told both parties would jump at the opportunity. For the time being we wait on the NCAA... but this season will look completely different in a months time.

Getting Fields won’t happen. Orgeron would lose all credibility for giving Myles the middle finger

Why go for a QB and not an elite edge rusher or even an elite OT? If you believe what coaches have said about Myles it seems like there are bigger holes on the roster.

You'd have to. That's a top 2 draft pick. I think there are more needs but if hes the only one that wants to come here then you have to take him. Also id Fields goes down then you have a backup thats seen playing time.

Getting a Heisman Trophy Finalist is a good thing not a bad thing.

Nobody said we only had one spot available... if ncaa opens this up we will have multiple available spots.

If you like winning then you play the best. If Myles hasn't won the job after 4 years of being on campus...then it is what it is.

I also don't believe this is going to happen so won't matter imo

I know they are only "likes" on a social media platform but if Myles shows any indication he isn't in 100 percent then bring someone else in. No room for weakness or apprehensiveness in a championship program. Full steam ahead.

Fields being allowed to transfer twice without sitting out either time would be nuts

But is Fields a plug and play guy in our offense? He’d have even less time to mesh with the team than Burrow did in ‘18.

I think that would be a bigger issue more than anything else. You also don't have any non-conference cupcakes to work the kinks out either.

By the time this would all happen (even if it does), Fields would likely have less than a month before the Ole Miss game. If this was like a normal transfer window, it would be much more feasible
